30:58 Never heard of that spoken or unspoken rule. You can leave table any time...particularly after you announced it in advance. Staying there any longer is a mistake.
Three minutes in and twice you've opened with people having limped in and not accounting for that in your opening sizings (for example, it folds to you with one limper and instead of making it 25 you then make it 20 two times in a row). Do you account for limpers when you open is my question I guess?
I'm not sure which hands you're talking about. The first two hands both had one limper, so I made it $20 preflop. I always account for limpers, 3x plus one X per limper, and if out of position, you can add another X as well. But also, game flow dependent like the 2nd table. I think there was 1 limper for $10, and I made it $50 instead of $40 since the player was on tilt. But yes, standard 3x plus 1 for each limper. It's kind of just a rule of thumb...
@@GainzPoker Alrighty, I think I was basing myself off a 20 standard open and it seems like yours is 15 in general? No worries! That dude slow playing the AA was wild, lol.
On the AA on 447 I would just call his raise. No use jamming. In my opinion you shut down any of his bluffs, scare away smaller overpairs, only getting called when beat IF opponent isn’t brain dead.
just a dream session!! every poker player would like to hav a day like that. btw if you're ever in texas, don't forget to make it over to the lodge in san antonio, some great action, live streams, tournaments, & lively cash games!! i play low stakes tournaments, 2 or 3 times a week. guys call me action mike, the tournament players here all know me.
I find it so funny at 5:30 that villian had AA. The line he took almost ensured he got no value from the exact hand he wanted to, top pair top kicker. Like seriously if he does anything different, doesn’t lead the flop, doesn’t check raise turn, or doesn’t bet out for 1/15th pot on river he is almost always getting a double up. Truly fascinating how recs truly do not want to take your money.
Wow!!! This video was one of the most interesting that you've put out. All the videos are great, but this one was awesome. What a fun and profitable session. That's the kind of action that's worth losing a little sleep over.
In the beginning as soon as you get min clicked on the turn, it’s a super easy fold. Lead flop, check raise turn, nobody at these stakes is bluffing in that line, 99% of the time it’s just 22, or Ax 2 pair.
It's not really an unspoken rule. It's etiquette is all especially if you play at the spot regularly. I always announce my last orbit so whatever happens just happens and no one thinks wrongly
It was cool playing with you at MGM. I just visited golden nugget for the first time, their uncapped 1/2 games are wild. The dude had 10k band on the table. On top of his 5k in chips, at a 1/2 game. Cash plays on those tables. U don't need to exchange them for chips as u do in most casinos. So people tend to be way more deep stacked.
The pocket A’s hand at 8:37. You had said you wonder what he had. I’d be willing to bet it’s 1 of 3 hands…. Most likely though it’s AQ. But if not AQ I’d say it had to be Q10 or pocket 10’s those are the only 3 hands that possibly make sense. The only other thing that even remotely makes sense is some other smaller pair that he was betting all in thinking you 1. Had a draw and wouldn’t call with or 2. You had AK, missed the flop and would fold. Those are the only possibilities that make sense. I’ve been seeing a lot of odd, head scratching plays lately. Last night I’m in the CO with KK. There is a 10 straddle with 4 callers. The button had been playing a pretty aggressive game so far. (Already rebought 4 or 5 times). So I make it 50 expecting him to min click it like he had been. Nope, he shoves for his last 260$. It folds to the UTG who had the straddle on. He flats. Now I’m confused. He only left himself maybe 200 behind tops and I’ve got about 1200 in my stack so I didn’t expect a call to the button all in with the blinds and the straddle being the only 3 players who hadn’t already just called the 10$. So it folds back to me and I put the UTG all in. I thought I was likely up against AK and JJ or QQ. Nope button had QJ off, UTG had A5 off. I’m still scratching my head. It’s like a lot of the players are watching vlogs, playing online or something and come to the conclusion that everyone will fold every hand if you show enough aggression. I don’t get it.
@Moye-iw6ub those r possibilities, and it was a few weeks ago, but I think I remember him saying he had a pair on the flop and wasn't top pair. Not 100% sure, but head scratcher, yes. I appreciate u sharing your hand as well. Leaving himself $200 behind is a mistake, all in or fold situation for sure. And the other guy, super agro, can have any 2. So slam dunk spot for u with so little behind if the caller happened to have Aces just a cooler and only a few hundred down instead of thousands. It happens
You got lucky in the AQ v AA hand. Dude was really supposed to double through you. Your opponent was trying to be tricky, and left a lot of (your) money on the table.
Good Video. At the end of the video, you started talking directly to the camera. Honestly, as you were using your natural cadence, use this during your voice-over. Great job. I enjoyed your thought process and detail during the game. 👍🤙
Man that Aces hand. You 4 bet shoved the flop, there, He isn't calling you with anything but a full house. If you just called his 3 bet, he's jamming almost any turn card with so little behind and you get all the money. That shove was just so incredibly strong.
He committed himself at that point. If he's putting in $400, he shouldn't be folding a big over pair for the amount that's in the middle/amount he had behind. Just didn't want an action killer card to hit. I'm not really worried about him getting there, just an action killing card. 7 Ace King Queen, even a Jack. If he had tens plus, which im 100% sure he had based on the tank, then those r all cards that kill the action or he's winning. And since he folded on the flop, the turn was small, I believe. I lead jam because that's really the only move. He is probably still folding.....
@@GainzPoker I get your viewpoint and I’m not saying your logic is wrong, I just think calling there is the better long term play. If I was your opponent and you four bet shoved on me in that spot I might even fold aces lol. It looks like you flopped a boat or have trips minimum. There are zero bluffs on that board. Either you slow played AA/KK or you have trips or a boat. I’m guessing he had Queens. Those 2-5 players in that $1500 cap game aren’t 1-2/1-3 players. They will find big folds. Even when getting crazy odds. You showed down monsters all night and had a massive stack. Players are going to give you credit. Either way nice win man.
