To be honest, I think the same. I left the community at the end of 2022, and I said to myself that even the biggest hype this game will get because of the updates won't make me go back on this decision.
To everyone that's disappointed with this update, your expectations are way too high because of the big mods like Vs. Imposter and Mario Madness that spoil you with a shit ton of content in a single update. The team working on this game is pretty small so it's gonna take way longer to develop the game.

Not all of them, for example vs impostor adding 2-3 errect song each week (freeplay doesn't count) and customize the score animations and everything, that's for the full mod, but In one shot mods it could be not making any sense lol
people really have been spoiled by big mods who have tons of people to work on them full time and get mad when 4 people cant make a full game + merch and kickstarter rewards in a few years

I will admit that they were way to ambitious with their goals for the game and bit off way more than they can chew, but it still is a huge project to keep under control anyways and it's a miracle they didn't just take the money and run 😭

And sure, with a large team it would be more difficult to control the process of development, but surprise suprise, development of the game should not be easy peasy anyway. P.S. Also, I’m not saying that Phantom Arcade is a scammer who took the money and ran away with them. Whether this is true or not doesn't matter at all, because in any case the game's development process is terribly slow. If everything will keep going like this, we will play the full version of the game when we become pensioners.

I hope that they do these things: change the main menu and the story mode menu, change the backgrounds of the songs, change the sprites, add ghost tapping, health drain, add cutsceans to every week, new sprites and bakcgrounds in erect remixs, change the health bar, add some mechanics to make the songs harder, add the combo mechanic, add note splash in week 6, add the rest of erect songs(tutorial, monster, m*lf, cocoa, winter horrorland, the whole week 7 and the whole week 8), multiplayer and the last thing mobile version I know these are alot but lets hope that they do these
Yep, we get a lot more new and really fun songs due to the erect mode and the weekend song, and even if it took 3 years Atleast it’s closure on that the game is still updating, and we should take it as a sign the fnf creators are actually working on the game, and the fact it’s the start of so much more makes this update seem opening in the find community
I like how this update came out right at the end of my eight grade year. For me , i have played fnf since it blew up when i first started playing it at the very start of my middle school, now i am moving on to highschool. Edit: i forgot that it blew up when i was in 5th grade but its basically the same thing.
For some of the remixes they feel a bit unfinished like some of them soumd like they have alot more notes than what we see on the screen so I hope that's the case for some of these as they sound sooo good

Okay now with Week 1 remixes, I headcanon that BF has listened to Daddy Dearest's albums before and may even be a fan of his because in these remixes, it seems like BF knows how the song goes in order to freestyle it. And the Erect remixes take place at the same time as the normal songs, so he can't know from having rap battled against Daddy Dearest before because it's supposed to be his first time meeting him. Which would mean that he listened to Daddy Dearest's songs and knew them fairly well before even meeting the guy.
