@@zurichsee706 I love her collaborations with drummers like him, talvin singh or Sigtryggur Baldursson (of course with track makers like Mark bell or Matmos, too)
That drummer is on fire!!! He’s a BEAST!! I love it!!!! It’s cool that he’s mouthing some words n some of her songs. I guess they had to rehearse many times and he just picked up some of the words.
Memorizing the lyrics as part of memorizing the songs structure can also help (especially with drummers because often it's harder to hear the rest or the band while playing) to know where they are at in the song. Especially with music like bjorks which isn't always atypical or straight forward.
I’ve often asked myself, as someone born in 1996, if I had a Time Machine that could only take me to one concert ever in history, which would it be? I’ve debated it a lot in my head, from Freddie Mercury to Metallica to Bach to Ella Fitzgerald. But after watching this video, I’ve decided. It’s this one. I’d go back to see this show.
For those complaining about the camera. I work as a multicam director and seens to me that this is just one of the cameras used in the TV broadcast. I couldn't go to this concert but I remember this festival being broadcasted in Brazilian TV and it wasn't like that.
The Drumer is Trevor Morais, from the legendary band The Peddlers, assisti esse show e fiqquei petrificado com o baterista...A imagem está linda e maravilhosa, nunca imaginei que pudesse haver um registro disso em video, agradeço muito a quem postou isso, me trouxe boas lembranças!
How great to have "Modern Things", "Big Time Sensuality", " "Crying", "I go Humble", "You've been flirting again" and "Its Oh So Quiet" on the setlist!
She was much less intense in the next show, which I was lucky to catch. I didn't get her then (not sure one ever can). In this one even her looks were stunning (she seemed to do her best in looking her worst mostly and as guaranteed, succeeded). Even so many years later this comes across as a firestorm. She, Tori Amos and Thom Yorke were then some of the most beautiful beings (human or otherwise) to ever set foot on this planet. Thom still is.
Yesss and 1995 PJ with that "Joan Crawford on acid" To Bring You My Love phase. 1994-1999 Tori was a spiritual experience. She left her blood on the floor every single night. Tori spoiled me early on....if I can't transcend during a show, we can't break bread. I'm not sticking around for background "diningroom" performances. I want to feel like I've been drugged. Early 2000's performances by The Knife were tribal shamanistic fire dances. My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult had their moments, too.
awesome concert. unreal vocals. the band was clicking together. yeah, wish had'a been there. Glad to have been on earth the same time as this artistic genius.
Wow would have sold all I own to see this show, fantastic. Björk is so powerful And yes the drummer is out of this world. Great admiration to all who preformed here Thanks for letting us see it

Sucedió hace tanto y apenas acabo de conocerla ya escuche dos conciertos completos hoy... Wow!! es genial, un muy buen viaje!! gracias por compartirlo...
It’s wonderful there is a video from this show! I was there and it was forbidden to film anything. Security guys would take your camera away (yes camera, there was no smartphones).

i’m sure Bjork had an amazing performance, but the guy in the drums IS LIVING/KILLING it!

Foda! que bom que voces soltaram a camera que foca justamente no melhor do show: o baterista! hahaha
Tenía entendido que la canción Isobel fue compuesta para Elis.
Es cierto?
Gracias.
Obrigado.
The first album is always the best no one can surpass her talent nowadays
Bjork may well be the greatest musician/artist of our age. Pretty sure
one of the most original, thats for sure.

How can she dance so much and still sing great at the same time?? It doesn’t even seem like she gets winded!! It’s amazing!!

He is a machine, it's pretty hard percussion work to play Bjork, requires extreme timing.
O cara toca com a alma mesmo. Isso é Bjork, técnica e alma no mesmo som.
