Sweet video buddy but never secure that machine the way you did. You got to use the D rings to secure. That's what it's there for. The DOT will tear you a new one in a heartbeat.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, I got my CDL a few years back and immediately started driving for Werner but it was a bad experience from the get and left a bad taste in my mouth so I came home and found a local class B gig driving rolloff which I don't mind one bit, but watching this heavy haul video that shit looks cool as hell! Safe travels brother!
A good operator should clean his own machine, whether it's a truck, excavator, or wheel loader etc... any company that doesn't require its employee's to keep their machines clean will end up have lots of breakdowns, which means hours if not days that machine wont be earning money. Botton line is if you dirty it then you clean it! In my country a person that drives for a company and doesn't keep his machine clean doesn't keep his job for very long.
What do you mean can’t afford to? Just wondering. I graduate in 2 years looking to get Into trucking when I’m out of school. Just wondering how I’m gonna get my CDL without money lol

Never secure your load from the track plate. Stones or any solid debris that the operator runs over at the job site can bend the plate, weaken or deform it & the addition of a tie down pulling in the opposite direction might flex the damaged section, crack enough to separate from the rest of the plate. Always secure to the frame or the track carriage. Like the video's, keep them coming. Dude, you've got to get yourself an electric tarp. The combined time to manually deploy your tarp from 4 loads, that's 8x's you're on the load, you could get in a 5th load w/ an electric tarp. What do you think? But you just got a cool KW so...maybe later?
