Catherine is the best of all worlds. She may have been born a commoner but she has more grace, poise, elegance, commitment, modesty, kindness, and style than many of those who were born royal. She is truly a modern queen.

Harry's father was understood to want to streamline the monarchy, cut costs and reform a system of patronage seen as anachronistic. One year on little has changed starting with Charles who paid no Inheritance Tax and his eldest son inherited the Dutch of Cornwall estate from him, which means that William nor his wife have any incentive to work as he will earn approximately 24 million p.a. from that estate. Charles and Camilla have taken over at too old an age and William and Kate inspire no one. If you like boring that's your choice. I personally would rather spend a day laughing, joking and having a good time rather than an hour with William and Kate. As for scandals - the palace have an agreement with the press so that no 'scandals" are emerging just yet. However, now that the Firm are advertising for a CEO it will ruffle many feathers and that's when "palace sources" will start feeding the press with information. Watch this space ........

She’s very classy and elegant. I don’t understand why people penalize her for “waiting” eight years before getting married. It’s the natural course of dating and helped solidify their relationship to be as successful as it is now. Most other royal relationships have not been successful. So, Kate was right to not rush into marriage.
People try to find any reason to dislike her.. and that’s difficult because there is not much to dislike about her so they settle on her waiting.
My husband and I had to wait almost seven years before we married, because we met when we were in school and then went to different universities. We hated having to wait so long, but looking back at it now, when we’ve recently celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary, I think that separation and long engagement when we were young strengthened our relationship.
Some people, as you say, just have nothing better to do. Negative people with miserable attitude.
There is No One more fit to be the Queen and King than Kate and William. I have followed the Royal Family for Years and have Admired the Family. My two boys are within a few Months of William and Harry. I was such a Diana fan as well. However I knew Charles and Andrew were Shady all along and I can't stand the thought of him and the old bitty being King and Queen. Just the look of the two of them makes me want to Puke. So I quit following the Royal Family other than William and Kate, Harry and Megan. When the power changes and Charles and Witchy poo is out, I will start following the Royals again.

She took a lot of crap from the press when she and William were separated. She proved her loyalty all the way. The constant references about the timeliness for the king and his death is such poor behaviour. Most of us would have had a coach. At the engagement interview she seem lost when pap tried to bring Diana comparisons into play. The difference, when William stepped in with his smooth confident way of speaking was obvious. I felt for her at that difficult time. Catherine has come along so far in her speaking engagements and if a coach has done that, then a big thanks to him or her.
Kate did a fantastic job, it takes time to be comfortable with public speaking. I think she was wonderful.
She wasn't that good in the beginning. But she's improving everyday! I still think she needs to lose a few verbal tics like saying 'sort of' a lot. It's hard for non English speakers to understand her sometimes.

She's such a rare treasure to the current era. I'm 27 who have moved to the US very recently. I see all the crazy activists even abusing children with their woke activities and see lots of children are very much affected by the uneducated adults which made me really think to the point that I don't want to have a child with my husband. She's the women gave me a hope to have a family, she's the women who made me realise always be strong and be kind. She's the one I have always been looked up to and always in the future. Catherine is an exquisite woman. She shows that a loving close knit family can produce stable well adjusted children.
William knew the pain of parents that were not well suited and he alone knows the pain that he witnessed.
He was incredibly wise to make sure Catherine had a complete grasp of the complexities of the Monarchy.

They show the importance of taking your time to become good friends first. It’s a real first that the bride comes from such a wonderfully healthy family so that their children will have another view of life at their grandparent’s home. Diana would have been a better Queen, but Kate runs a really close second. Since Charles was such a douchebag and treated Diana with such indignity and disrespect and ripped that potential from Diana before she died, I think Kate is a perfect New people's princess/future Queen, and really does the memory of Diana justice. Just as long as history remembers Diana as the O.G. people's princess who paved the way for the ability of both the royal family and the public to accept a "commoner" into the top tier of royal succession. Camilla is 100% UNDESERVING of the title of Queen Consort, and puts a dark stain on both the royal family and the memory of Diana by her very presence every second she's still there. And I'm of the opinion that William should have been crowned King, rather than Charles, and the same opinion when it comes to Kate, she should be Queen Consort next to William as King. Neither Charles nor Camilla deserve to be the Ruling Monarch due to the scandal they created and the respect they lost from Queen Elizabeth.

Diana was the daughter of an Earl; her title was Lady Diana Spencer and a descendant of the Royal Stuart line. Her siblings had Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother as Godparent. There’s a book written by Lady Colin Campbell called “The Real Diana”, which I suggest you read. Everything you’ve written here is inaccurate.
Our Monarchs ascend in accordance with an Act of Parliament. William wasn’t going to be crowned over Charles, unless Charles had been incapacitated prior to ascension; that would have been illegal.
QEII made Camilla a member of The Privy Council in 2016. Are you suggesting Her late Majesty was stupid enough to put someone she didn’t trust on the Monarch’s main advisory body?

Of the backlash of her not being a good public speaker, I think her effortlessness and natural charm on speaking with the people at the walkabouts totally makes up for it. It is lovely to see that after her 12 years of marriage and motherhood, she has grown more and more confident. She really has carved her own path and is a vital member of a now much smaller royal family
Her natural reticence has served her very well. She basically never said anything before the marriage, so she couldn’t say anything wrong. Not starting out as a great public speaker just shows how genuine she is. If she’d been overly confident there would have been a different type of backlash. And she’s improved a lot over the years.

Hello to you as well. I thank you for your response. I apologize for it being so late at night. But again thank you for your response Take care and keep well.
I know a lot of people try to make a case that William was waiting so long to marry Catherine because he didn't really love her, or didn't want to marry here.
I think it showed how much he loved her, he was willing to let her go. Regardless of what it would do to him.
I think he didn't want to make the mistake his parents did, he and Harry both had to live through the breakdown and divorce of their parents, he wanted to make sure Kathrine could handle being a part of the RF and i suppose he wouldn't want his children to go through what he and Harry did.
I think he also maybe wanted to settle a bit before. Like he was still in his military training during most of their courtship while they were already living together in Wales when he proposed to her, they were settled and secure.
He was still serving when they got married and missed a big part of George first months because he was deployed away, that's when he decided to retire from military.
If he was a regular man i think he would have married her sooner. But as he was choosing not just a wife, but a queen, he had to ensure she understood the responsibilities and burdens. The biggest one, raising her child as th3 future monarch and all that entails.
I love her so much! She's an inspiration to every woman no matter what age. Their love as husband and wife is an example that a woman will will bloom overtime when she is love and treated nice.

The Princess of Wales is her own person. She is dignified, poised and regal. She is the perfect companion for the Prince of Wales. Over the years, she has gained so much confidence. I believe she will be a wonderful Queen and Britain will be proud of her.

Princess Catherine seems like such a lovely woman that has walked her own path when it comes to following her late mother in law. She’s been treated horribly by Megan’s sugars with rumours and slander coming from them. You could see her pain during the funeral of the late Queen as she had been so close to her.

Best wedding ever, such a beautiful couple with the most beautiful children. What a shame that PH & MM couldn’t take a page out of their book.
Unfortunately, the other two never matured and wasted a beautiful opportunity. Briefly, had high hopes for them. But they "shat" on the monarchy and flushed themselves right on over to the U.S. Thankfully, I live near the east coast, interestingly, 12 miles/19 km away from where her father started out.
Catherine continues to be honorable, kind, sweet, compassionate, loving, and an example of service & duty. I realize that people generally feel that the royal family is expected to put service to country first, but it’s really first to God, family, and then country. God bless and protect them and their family, always.

I watched their wedding on tele and I remembered I was teary eyed and had wished them well as I thought they were very good for each other. I am very happy that they have gone along way together with three beautiful children. I see a bright future of the monarchy with William and Catherine as the future King and Queen.
She is the most beautiful queen ever, can't wait to see her Crowned. William is very lucky to have married her.

The following decade she produced 3 children meaning that in the last 20 years she has achieved nothing in comparison to millions of other women around the world who work, get married and have children. She ought to be known as "Doolittle" the nickname the late Queen gave her.
I'm not English, but the beauty, the modesty, the way Kate managed to adapt to the royal rules, makes me love her and consider her my Queen. I would be proud to be truly my Queen.
