Yes it can accommodate kadais access pressure cookers. I think the gap between the two racks is good enough to fit upto 8L cooker. If you've a taller cooker if you tell me the height, I'll be able to tell you if it would fit.
hi mam , I bought voltas beko dt8s dishwasher in Nov 2021. Due to some renovation in my kitchen, I did not use it since May 1, 2022 till 5 June 2022. will this cause any problem.planning to reuse it from tomorrow. Any precautions or procedures to be taken when starting to reuse it from 6/6/22.kindly guide madam.thanks in advance
Hi Prabha, sorry for the delay in reply. Since it is only a month that your dishwasher has been idle, there should not be any problem in reusing it now. As you mentioned about renovation in your kitchen, I hope the dishwasher was kept covered and protected from dust and debris. You can just clean internally and check for any blockages in the inlet/outlet pipes. Thanks.
Hi.. Thank you for your informative videos about the Voltas Beko DT8. Can you let me know if this appliance has an auto resume function after a power cut? IT would be useful to know before I decide on getting this.
Hi Prasad, thank you for your appreciation. I'm still in the process is trying out by actually switching off power. Hopefully within a week i should be able to tell exactly what happens during power outage. I'll then be uploading a video on the same like I've done for my Bosch dishwasher.
@@BhuvanaAdi Thank you for your prompt reply mam. I'm keen on buying the Beko in another couple of days, since there's a sale on Flipkart. If you get to try out this feature before then, please do let me know. Either way, I'm looking forward to your next videos. Keep up the good work.
Hi Geetha, I am still in the process of trying out the different cycles in this dishwasher. Whatever I have tried till now has come out fairly good. I shall share my videos of each program cycle and also a detailed review of the machine in my channel very soon. So please stay tuned! Thanks.
Hi Shravan, congrats on your new purchase. Usually the light should stop blinking after filling the salt and rinse aid. You can wait for a couple of cycles, as sometimes it takes a few cycles before the light goes off. If it still blinks, then call for service.
The extreme 4 corners will not be covered by upper spray arm. So I usually place coffee and tea filters and no cups. They too are sometimes not cleaned well. And as you mentioned big plates have to be placed at the end and it can accommodate only 6-8 big plates maximum and no more. Otherwise it's an excellent machine and has reduced the burden a lot
Yes Abha, the water from spray arm reaches the corners too, hence lightly soiled ones can be placed there and they do get cleaned well. Actually I have a collection of before and after pics of dishes washed in this Voltas Beko dishwasher, of various programs run in the last two minths, which I plan to share as short videos o RUclips or Insta - instagram.com/bhuvanaadi or on my facebook page - facebook.com/lifefoodtravel/ . Hi Dr. Sujatha, I would love to do videos on all the dishwasher brands in the market. If someone provides me with a machine, there is no problem in making videos. Thanks for your suggestion.
Both are different size wise. So it will not be a fair comparison. Since I have just started using, I will need some more time to understand this dishwasher by trying out various cycles using different detergents and different set of soiled dishes. I can give me review after that only. I've started running the machine and recording videos of different cycles and shall be uploading the videos one by one. So keep watching.
@@BhuvanaAdi ... Could it be possible that the bigger Dishwashers dry up dishes better and even their wash quality is better than Table Top Beko 8 places ? I don’t find Beko cleaning and drying satisfying to me personally !
No Abha it's not like that. - Cleaning depends much on the water hardness whether it is table top or regular dishwasher. - Based on water hardness, you've to adjust salt and rinse aid levels accordingly. - Proper detergent that suits your water type has to be used. - Correct quantity of detergent is very important based on the degree of soiling in your dishes. - Last but not least of the correct placement of dishes is very important for good cleaning. The spray arms have holes through which water is sprayed and at the corners they have more holes and hence water spraying at those points will be more. You've to place the heavily soiled dishes in the periphery of the rack for more water to reach them. Also always place heavily soiled dishes in the lower rack and lightly soiled ones in the upper rack. All the above conditions are applicable for any size dishwasher. If any one is not alright, your cleaning won't be good. In your case, may be you have to increase your rinse aid level so as to get good drying. In this table top model every program except the Quick 35 minutes program has drying at higher temperature than the washing temperature. In fact I am able to remove my dishes within 5 minutes of opening the machine after the completion of the program cycle. All the dishes except plastic come out totally dry. You can see in the videos I've posted. Since you've just started using, it will take some time and some trials to understand the machine and the programs. Slowly you'll learn and you can perfect it to get the desired cleaning results. Hope I've made myself clear and this will help you get good cleaning results. Thank you.
@@BhuvanaAdi ... hey Thanks that was super quick .... and I see that’s become your USP now to be super logical n quick with ur responses. Thanks that’s a brilliant one I say ! Secondly, in point number 2 ... you are asking to adjust salt n rinse aid ... but isn’t that all automatic and we have no control over how much of salt n rinse aid goes into each cycle ? All we can do is choose a cycle to suit our need .. or May be u are saying .... what cycle suits best for the kind of soiled utensils I have .. at that particular time will decide if the rinse aid is needed more or less. Is that what u mean by deciding the levels ? Does each cycle also uses the salt differently ? Btw, we have sweet river water and I donno if we should use the salt or not although I have put the salt as of now. And yes I am still learning to use Beko... with ur help I think I will do a good job with that. You are indeed sweet Bhuvan 😍🙏🏻
It's actually ideal to place at a height like the kitchen counter or if not on a table etc. becausecause of its small size. No problem in keeping down, but there who be two issues - 1. You've to bend every time to load and unload dishes. 2. You may have to connect the outlet to the sink outlet below as I've shown in my "Check list of things" video. If kept on the counter, you can let the outlet directly into the sink like I've done with my Voltas Beko.
@@BhuvanaAdi .... also in the ‘time delay’ ... won’t the utensils dry up when set at night to be washed in the morning with the time delay (of approx. 5/6 hours) option ?? And I don’t find my utensils drying 100% and shinning like everyone usually displays on utube... I wonder why ?
First of all, since the dishwasher will be closed the dishes won't get dry, they will be as you placed them inside. Moreover before the washing begins, the dishes are rinsed for a few minutes. They have provided a slot for adding small quantity of detergent which will be used during this pre wash. So even the dried utensils will become wet before the actual washing starts. Regarding cleaning and shining and drying, I've replied in another query of yours.
@@AAg11805 don't use delay option in your dishwasher at night. Start it as soon as you leave kitchen. Sometimes small utensils get displaced due to water pressure and start obstructing the spray arm so that you know it in few minutes and can rearrange before you sleep and also after the wash cycle ends utensils will have lot of time till morning to become more dry. And even if there is power cut there is ample time for the dishwasher to complete the cycle. So all in all I never use delay start at all in my dishwasher. I have the same one using since 5 months.
Thanks Avinash for sharing your experience and practises with the dishwasher. I myself do not use the delay start function much, as I'm at home mostly. But this function is of great use to people who are out of the house mostly, those who have regulated water supply for fixed hours in a day and those who really prefer to use the dishwasher at the end of the day.. For the few times I've used, I generally delay the time such that the program ends when I wake up and I'm able to open the machine soon. This has worked very well for me. So just before going to sleep I load the machine, select the program and set the delay start based on the program duration, so that the finishing time is as the same as my waking up time. And believe me, I've found it very convenient. You've mentioned about small items getting displaced because of water pressure. I don't know why this should happen. We live in the first floor and our water pressure is very high, but I've not come across this problem. Utensils are dry within 5 minutes after the end of any program(other than plastics) except the 35 min Mini cycle. The more time given they are totally dry of course. Regarding, power cuts and resumption after that and the program continuation you have a valid point. But rarely power cuts happen in the nights. Also from my observation, I've noticed that in Voltas Beko, at least in this model, after power resumption, the program starts from the beginning of the stage it was in (washing, rinsing, drying) and does not go to the beginning of the program cycle itself. Thanks once again for your inputs.
