W251 R-Class Right Rear Door Lock Repair

Here you can see the right rear door lock from a 2006 R500 disassembled. This video could be useful for those that want to replace just the motor inside one of their door locks instead of replacing the whole expensive door lock. I apologize there is no disassembly portion but we all know thats the easy part. I tried to show in great detail the process i took to replace the motor and reassemble this complex assembly.

Can you please tell me why you're replacing that motor?
I have an 07 R320 & the rear left door lock sounds like a machine gun when it locks. I got another lock assembly from a wreckers, replaced it, got it all back together, sounds good, but now it doesn't lock anymore. When all the doors are locked, this door still opens. The lock knob at the top of the door trip goes up & down with the central locking.
Any advice how to fix it? Is this the reason for that motor replacement? Or is the motor replacement to stop the machine gun locking?

Actually, I fixed the machine gun like locking, it turned out it was just the lock knob shaft getting caught, so I removed it.
So what's the reason for motor replacement your doing?
