We are excited to feature Yolanda Herrera-Sánchez, Equity and Dual Programs secretary, in our I AM WWPS video series! Yolanda grew up in the Walla Walla Valley and joined Walla Walla Public Schools after spending 10 years working at Andy’s Market in College Place.
In her current role, she serves as a vital link to our Spanish-speaking families, managing the district’s Hotline and Spanish Facebook page. Yolanda is also instrumental in organizing events and meetings, coordinating translators, and handling logistics for community outreach efforts.
Outside of work, Yolanda is a devoted mom of five who enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family. With her deep care for kids, families, and the community, Yolanda is a valued member of the WWPS team.
