1. Cleansing balm/face wash (I usually use something cheap like cetaphil or la Roche posay) 2. Laneige toner because step 3 is drying 3. Retinoids/acid I do my prescription tretinoin 3 days a week and the cocokind turmeric illuminating solution twice a weeks these are strong products so you need to build ur skin up to tolerate it! 4. Discoloration serum - cocokind one again 5. Sometimes I’ll add a barrier serum if my skins hella dry I like the pink ordinary one 6. Moisturizer/ lip balm

the transparencyyy👏 👏 i love how you show the empties, show that you also got the chemical peel and laser which contributed to the results, everything. you are the only one i trust on here ❤
Agreed!! Very few influencers nowadays have this level of honesty and it’s refreshing to see. Also, I appreciate that she uses the product for a while (e.g. the 2 empty bottles) before choosing to sponsor a brand deal with a company.
@@hadiYUHThe empties! I wish influencers didn't have to constantly prove that they are honest because of a few bad eggs, but I really appreciate her showing the empties. Plus, this is her second sponsor from cocokind, so it's nice to know that she still loves the products months later!
Hi my name is Ayesha and I'm 13 years old I'm a Muslim I am also South Indian i also have medium to dark skin i used to not like my skin colour but love my skin now you inspired me a lot and I love doing makeup i learnt from you a lot and please recommend more brands like Maybelline that are available in India and my dream is to meet you one day and i love you sooo much ❤❤❤😊
When you find the products that work for you, CONSISTENCY is the key. It took several months to see a major change in my skin. Now, my skin tone is even. I do have an occasional hormonal breakout.
thanks for posting this!! I have very stubborn hormonal acne as an adult and I feel like I've tried everything 😢 your video gives me hope that I can also treat my skin no matter the slow process ❣️
The Cocokind discoloration serum has worked WONDERS on my acne scars! I’ve used it for a month and the acne scars I thought I would have for life are already fading. Definitely need to try the turmeric serum as well. You always give the best product recommendations, thank you! ❤
Monica you're the epitome of beauty! ❤ You made me confident with my body, my skin and with life. I am sending love and positive energy towards you 🫶🌞🍀
love this!!🤎 biggest tip for acne-prone melanated skin: keep brightening ingredients in your routine AT ALL TIME! like alpha arbutin, licorice root, tranexamic acid, niacinamide, kojic acid etc. even better, get a product that has 2+ of these ingredients to make it easier (and less expensive) on yourself !
I'm as pale as it gets, so I have no clue what it's like to have brown hyperpigmentation. But... honestly, the red marks that acne leaves on my white, thin, transparent skin isn't much better either. And I feel like nothing helps. No vitamin C, no niacinamide, no carbon peels.
Hii i just wanted to say how you have really made me feel more comfortable in my skin and you have shown me how to take care of it and also love it so thank you sm for that ❤
Hey girly! Are you still getting microneedling or any special treatments done? Skincare alone just doesn't do enough for my hyperpigmentation & post acne scars.
I wish i would have kept everything i used also because my skin was just like yours a year ago and now its almost gone but im getting new ones from pimples. But all of my old hyperpigmentation and acne scars are gone . I used about 3 bottles of clear days ahead by philosophy its expensive i think i got the spot tretment and the moisturizer. And i used a few other things i cant remember but i think that and the vitam c by vichy and retinol by Neutrogena helped massively.
I’m trying it right now. My scars look like Monica’s but a little worse and the coco kind serum did not dl anything for me. I will update this comment with the topicals serum result!
Do you have any products you recommend for bacne? I have hyperpigmentation, but in particular as it gets warmer the bacne is coming in and I feel so insecure
The discoloration serum is so good but runs out like 3x faster than a regular serum 😭😭 I’m still on my first bottle though and I’ve already seen a difference even though I’ve only been using it for like two months so maybe worth it?
I just put my sis on niacinamide and glycolic acid cream. But she broke out. Does it take time for the products to work? If, how long. She has hyperpigmentation and adult acne
But that's not true u use so much expensive surgeries and procedures which u showed so ur skin cleared up not because of the overpriced sponcered products
Makeup is a form of art, and Monica LOVES to get creative with it! She feels happier when applying makeup and she knows how to enhance her features. She also knows color theory and applies it to finding the right colors for her skin tone ❤️
Can you write down the products in the description or pined comment please 🙃

is this discoloration serum eczema safe ?
@nar4690 I use the Ordinary's alpha arbutin and I have rosacea. I haven't noticed any discomfort. I think it's a low enough concentration.
@@tortugapoet the ordinary arbutin broke me out so badly, actually worsened my hyperpigmentation, to each their own though
I really trust you because you show products that you ACTUALLY use. And you have empties of. Not oh my god I love this and it’s still full!!
How do u know lol

No she goes through lot of surgeries that's why her skin cleared up not because of this products
@@rutviraimagia1781she doesn’t go through alot and chemical and microneedling isn’t surgery
I’d love to hear your review on Dr. Idriss’ skincare line. Currently most of her products tackle discoloration.
Loved that you alose mentioned the clinical skincare procedures in the end. We love a transparent queen 👑

I appreciate how you said you also did microneadling instead of just saying the products only changed your skin❤

Thank you so much for always disclosing ads! A breath of fresh air
I wonder if what helped the most was the tretinoin since that’s a prescription ?
I’ve been on tretinoin for 10 years so I was on it even while I was breaking out like that!
I got the cocokind discoloration serum because of you and I am really enjoying it!

Would recommended checking out Dr Vanita Rattan on RUclips, her channel specifically focuses on skincare for POC and it's so helpful and insightful! 😁

Having scars that lead to hyperpigmentation is the worst💔 thanks for sharing these products!!💗

Love the skincare videos.
I love this! Great tips!
you are literally my fav person to watch
Do not sleep on that SPF y’all. Sunscreen really helps to decrease hyperpigmentation.
I am obsessed with the cocokind chlorophyll discoloration serum because of you it’s a game changer on my 4th bottle thank you than you thank you 😊
Your skin is beautiful!! :)
I think she should start her own skincare and makeup brand❤❤❤

I'm a similar skin tone and have hyperpigmentation around my mouth. It has been so hard to get rid of vs just acne scars. I'll try this product out.
Hey girly! Are you still getting microneedling or any special treatments done? Skincare alone just doesn't do enough for my hyperpigmentation & post acne scars.
I think she finished that a few months ago :)

Love it! Do the different products help hyperpigmentation in different ways, or is it just the more the better?
Love the recs Monica! What is your skin type?
Have you tried the topicals faded serum?
I’m trying it right now. My scars look like Monica’s but a little worse and the coco kind serum did not dl anything for me. I will update this comment with the topicals serum result!

Can you please review the haus labs hy power pigment paints for brown skin???
Do you have any recommendations for body scars and hyperpigmentation?
Can you use the coco kind serum on your trerinoin days?
Looking for good leg products for it I still have bug bite scars from last year 😅

Chemical peels and laser consistently. retinol, vit c, sunscreen, and niacinimide every single day
What about hyperpigmentation around the thighs? What can i use for that?
I even get a mosquito bite and i have to worry about hyperpigmentation
I just put my sis on niacinamide and glycolic acid cream. But she broke out. Does it take time for the products to work? If, how long. She has hyperpigmentation and adult acne
I tried it but it broke me out idk what to use!!

Yeah and she does highlight that at the end, but there's a reason why she uses skincare still, because it works.
The products are all different brands the videos can’t be sponsored
"A few rounds of micro needling and a chemical peel," so it's not just shop-bought skincare?
I'm firstttt
I don't wanna be that person but you look so much better without makeup
kinda backhanded not gonna lie
