But if course that doesn't explain why they don't just use dismembered arms. Unless it's just easier to animate the model using its usual skeleton rather than fussing with a separate arms model. If you have excess memory for a scene, might as well not skimp if you don't need to.
I think The Lady that Antman found animated off screen in the chapter select screen might be THE ONE THEY USE for the animation of The Lady that you actually see at the start of the game when you start chapter 1!

This looks really cool and I'd really like to explore the details of the game myself as well as take some cinematic screenshots. I know that Universal Unreal Engine isn't compatible with the first game but aside from qNikko's mod I haven't been able to find any other camera mods for this game.

So I instead like to call her Madeline cuz for some reason she immediately reminded me of that childhood show of the same name that I used to watch as a kid. Same yellow outfit and everything just a hoodie instead of a hat.
how do you get to control the camera? by the way cool video I really enjoyed it especially the menu scream I kind of wish they put the eye door and it looks really cool in the concept art
1. Why is it better to load animations every time a cutscene plays instead of just playing a prerecorded video? For example, the lady scene at the beginning of the game and the "eye screen" in a secret room. 2. Can someone explain how 2 janitors is better than 1 in that scene? Does this have to so with making animation process easier?
Your first question is a good one that I can't answer but I imagine for your second question, I wonder if they were getting clipping issues with his arms when only using one character model. Cause the two holes are pretty far apart and the janitor model ain't that thicc. So it must of been easier to just spawn two of them and eliminate any clipping through texture issues. But it's just a guess.
Prerendered scenes take up more space, especially if it's HD video. It makes more sense to just do the cutscenes in game. Especially now that game graphics have advanced to the point where there wouldn't be much of a visual difference between the prerendered graphics and real time ones.

my curiosity is just to high, but you know those massive metal chasm you go over in the game? e.g the one at the start of the game with the bridge, and the one with the chef looking at the meat bags from a watch balcony, can you explore those please?
At the meat grinder room on a cut content showing where meat splitting to a hole room it was where we found grinded meat go but sadly that room was cut
