I don't think people appreciate Deris's unique voice and his ability to use falsetto to sing higher notes that otherwise aren't in his range like they are with Kiske. What I love about Deris and makes him the voice of Helloween is that he took Kiske's songs and made them his own . Kiske's voice is one in a million with his range and considered to be irreplaceable but Deris didn't try to replace him but be his own man with his own style
