Lol "the screen resolution on the iPhone 7 is trash" real talk. Why do they do that? I know it helps with battery life etc but 750p is ridiculous for a modern, expensive phone.
Well I suspect it's because they don't need an expensive GPU to push screen pixels and it uses less power. Smaller battery, less cost, more profit.

Apple will be Apple and it's quite hilarious how iSheep will buy a mid range and low end screen phones... reviewers still think is ok but for me it's quite funny and I feel bad for them cause old screens belong in the past... 720p is past... 1080p is still around but will begin to fade in favor of 4K since tv's are getting cheaper and there's a lot more content in 4K... Blu-Rays are now in 4K but still little bit more than regular FullHD Blu-Rays... but we are moving towards 4K... Samsung will keep one more year for 2K screen res and in 2018 it will be the 1st 4K Samsung will make on their Galaxy S9/S9 Edge... then it will be better on the G Note 9 with 4K screen
They probably kept it that way so they don't have to update their software for too many display types. I know 2K is just one more but yeah... it is a battery hog. S6 users will know what I am talking about.

Now I can order my iPhone 7 Plus. I never get a phone without watching the real review. Good look Flossy, I appreciate the reviews.
The only reason I still kick it with the iPhone and always come back from android, is the ecosystem. All my Apple devices work so well together. I've tried with the Note 7 and loved the phone but felt out of place with the rest of my devices. Touch ID might be another reason, all my financial apps support it and not so much on Android (it's getting better but not there yet).

That's how I feel too. Got the Note 7 and after all this "blowing up" BS I'm getting tired of all the drama and just feel like going back to iPhones for now. For me, the Music app is something I use all the time. It works well on androids but is still buggy and sometimes just doesn't flat out work. I also have a macbook and I miss being able to sync everything up to it in minutes. The Note 7 kills all iphones with features but for me the most important features are just flawless on iphones
***** a lot of phones are overpriced nowadays. The Note 7 in my opinion was overpriced but if you get a piece of technology that works and it's reliable, then I guess I don't mind paying for it. iPhones maybe not be feature packed but what they do, they do well. Also the resell value is high, same can't be said for android phones.
***** I don't disagree with what you're saying but at the time of selling the device and trying to recover a good chunk of your money iPhones are better for it. I bought a Note 5 a year ago and decided to sell it after a month or so and I lost about 300 dollars.

So no one's going to mention the Internals of the Iphone 7? The software endurance and durability? The thing these Note 7s, S7s, Android phone in general lack are optimization and fluidity/speed. This is coming from an Android user, I've been with Android since the HTC dream and HTC evo being my first smartphones back when I was in what, 7th-8th grade? I'm a junior In HS, And now I've ended with the Galaxy s7 and recently switched to the Iphone 7 plus. I'd rather want good software optimization, UI handling, and endurance when It comes to utilizing it for what, 2-3 years?. I've had my s7 for almost a year, and when I've first got It, It was fast sleek, and seemed to be powerful, but as weeks-months passed, It slowed down significantly, crashed constantly, battery life drained like crazy, the lag, everything. It's gotten to a point whereas my Iphone 5S appeared to be significantly faster than my s7 when It came to handling apps and surfing the web, handling heavy usage on the GPU. Yes, quick charging, wireless charging, and the better display seems good and all, but for how long? I used to think that way, until I really looked into It. Trust me, Apple knows what they're doing when It comes to their hardware, Android phones just falls behind, and I'm glad I'll finally be dropping this S7.

DrakothRieth it has a snap dragon quad core 4gb ram 2.15 ghz, that's the same specs as my gaming laptop. it's roughly neck and neck, paper vs physical is different, I've heard people say it feels faster and almost everyone says its the same.
I've even had apple fan boys say it's just as fast if not faster.

George Bountris you really can't tell a difference between 1080p and 1440p on a 5 inch smartphone, the difference is because of SUPER AMOLED vs IPS/LCD look it up.
I agree that amoled is a lot of the difference but I have a friend with a 7 plus and its not as sharp as my s7 edge

You're probably the most critically underrated tech reviewer on RUclips.. A piece of tech that costs more than $1000 deserve a 40 minute long review.. I just wished that when reviewing the cameras, you show multiple pictures in different settings and lighting conditions but all in all the review was very informative, great job!!!

One thing: iOS is not supposed to have 0 background apps, specially apps that you use the most.
And there is no tech youtuber saying that which is unbelievable.
iOS would work like Android on ~50-60$ Chinese phone if you close all background apps all the time.
So "close all" background apps button would kill the smoothness of the iOS completely.

Being a fan of both Apple and Samsung, I'd still tell anybody hands down get a Note 7 over the iPhone 7. It's a powerhouse compared to this new and "improved " iPhone

U know it... but regular non tech people don't get pixels and how they work... if u have a fullHD tv and a 4KTV u can clearly see the difference in picture quality... I have compared my Note 7 to iPhone 7+ and the difference in color saturation and brightness and picture quality between 1080p and QHd is huge... it's way more clear of coarse and just plain better...

The Exynos variant is capable of maximum theoretical speed of 600 Mbps whereas I read there is a little mystery behind Qualcomms modem which is an X16 part meaning its capable of speeds of up to 1000 Mbps thats as you can see 400 Mbps faster or quicker than the Exynos variant. No ones saying thing yet about this potential speed capability.
Ive seen the firware thar says its a 4X4 MIMO 256 QAM equipped part so in theoretically the handset just needs a software update from t.mobile or verizon to unlock this huge speed increase.
Its clear the "Exynos" variant is superior when it comes to power consumption.

Another note 7 blew up in a guy's pocket today on an airplane forcing an emergency landing. No, it wasn't an original note 7 this time but a newer replacement. Yeah, still having battery problems even with the newer replacements. You really love to brag about that wireless and fast charging don't you. Well, guess what the excessive heat from those features does to the battery in your phone? That's right.....it weakens and degrades it faster. Yes iphones are over priced but there's much less chance of one blowing you up or burning up your car, house or plane.
Good review and nice summary ... flossy carter is fast becoming the Priemier independent tech reviewer on the web, good blend of street and professional view points... what it shows is their isn't really one complete phone out there, even after 10 years of heavy development ... 7plus does somethings better , e.g. Raw power and smooth and simple gui, experience compared with Samsung note 7 which has more functionality... I agree with you Floss that phone prices are crazy these days. I stopped upgrading at the Note 4 and the truth is until these new phones start buying me breakfast in the morning, the Note 4 had all the relevant features I need. Not hating on the new stuff but it still rivals all the budget phones you review. IR blaster, expandable memory, removable battery, headphone jack, 4k video, 2k screen, great camera, stylus, wide front camera.
Tbh that glossy jet black color is by far my favorite color Apple ever had on the iPhone. We need it back

As soon as ios and android add more widgets, more real time widgets, it's impossible not to lag because it doesn't depend on the hardware, it has to do with lag from internet wifi or 4G speed and lag etc

I wouldn't call it lagging, lagginess usually describes when the app hangs on a load of CPU cycles and doesn't update the UI thread. If a spinner is still spinning, it is usually just waiting on network data.

Uchiha Madara HTC has been making dual speakers since the HTC M7. It's plenty of other Android phones with dual speakers as well. Nexus 6, Alcatel Idol 3, idol 4, Motorola Pure Edition, and a few more.

I bought an iPhone 7 plus last week. Right now I am using a tempered glass on the screen and a standard transparent case for the body. Will you recommend me to be like this or use the phone entirely naked, or use it just with a case without a screen protection or a screen protection without a case. How well the iPhone 7 plus stands to the day to day life usage to scratches. What is your experience in this case or in generally with any high end mobile devices. I care for my phones and don't use them roughly much. Your guidance will be appreciated.

I have an iPhone 7 and even I know Android is superior in every way... I made the switch because I simply get bored easily. Another thing noticed is that all my Androids would become laggy after about a year... they were never consistent like the iPhone is. I found myself only using my Android for the most simplest of needs. Music, RUclips, texting, calling, browsing the internet, watching some porn; so I figured I could try an iPhone and do all that with it. I'm happy with my phone, but again, I get bored easily. iPhone is a really great phone; never experience lagging, I love the updates that come pretty quickly, and how fluid it is. So if you're contemplating making the switch, get an iPhone if you use your phone for basic things and don't care to "customize" or "root" your phone. But all phones are pretty great nowadays, so you really can't go wrong with your decision.

Yes, you will love it. I have switched back and forth from Apple to android and always end up going back to apple. It's compatibility with my apple computer, watch, fiancés IPhone, siblings have them, and we can share photos and videos between all devices using (photo sharing) which my sister can be in Atlanta while I'm in AZ and just share an album with a few clicks. Using photo sharing it shares complete albums. Also, with iPhone how it organizes your photos is absolutely amazing. It literally keeps the most unorganized person organized. Also, you can share notes, grocery lists, etc. Honestly there is so much an iPhone can do (and is extremely simple) no one points out and even apples own users look over. I am always blown away by Apple. Personal opinion, take it or leave it. Might not mean anything to you, but I'm a family guy and staying I touch and in sync with my family and friends all while being extremely organized is what is important to me, so Apple takes the W hands down.

Why would Google totally abandon something that was so effective and reliable? I'm good with my iPhone 6s Plus, I just got it for Christmas and I really like it I also don't need the newest phone especially when they're taking out the headphone jack. Maybe in a couple years when I need to upgrade
