Thank you for watching 🧡 Just a few notes, Daiantei Ichiba is actually Ohyasutei Ichiba - which makes a lot more sense, the 'super cheap market' & Kasuga no Zaka is spelled with a Z, not and S! Thanks to my friend Eva for pointing these out - If you ever find yourself in Kobe, do a guided tour with her, she knows the area in and out → instagram.com/eva.kobe.guide
Your 'Life in Japan - Exploring Kobe' vlog was so captivating! I couldn’t resist watching all your videos - your cinematic shots and storytelling are just so immersive. It’s amazing how you bring Kobe to life with your lens!
Thank you so so much for your kind words! It’s really nice to share a little piece of this place, and learn a bit more about it in the process 🫶 And I’m so happy you noticed the lemon tree! It’s been thriving in its new pot, and I think it’s loving the bit of extra space too 😆💛
Kobe has been my favourite city in Japan since forever. Luckily, while I don't live in Kobe, it's a just quick ride to Sannomiya from Kita-Senri on Hankyu.
That's so nice to hear! And Kita-Senri is so so nice!! So many nice cafes around the area 🧡 I think I'm a bit on the fence since I live right in Sannomiya now, but when I was in high school, I lived up the hill around Kawanishi Noseguchi for a year and back then Sannomiya was definitely the place to be! 🤣
Ah this vlog resonates with me so much. During the pandemic I had to move to another city which was also smaller than where I lived during that time. It took me over 3 years to really feel at home there. I also missed all the artsy people and happenings from the city where I did my design degree. But I found some hidden artsy spots and maker spaces and slowly but steady the new city grew on me. It is still not perfect but it got better. And I hope you will find some nice spots and creative spaces in kobe as well :) Your vlog and your photography is absolutely lovely ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your story Katrin-I can relate on so many levels! Moving to a new place, especially when it’s smaller and doesn’t have that same creative vibe, is so though - plus exactly the same for me, I moved here for my job one week before we were all sent into home office...😂 I love that you eventually started feeling more like home over time, and it gives me a little hope for my own time here in Kobe! Honestly, hearing your experience makes me feel less alone in this, so thank you for that and your kind words~ it means a lot! 💛💛💛
I could so much relate to this very creative vlog! Having moved multiple places, I totally agree, home can be anywhere, you just make it feel like home ❤
Thank you so much for watching and sharing that~ uprooting your life to move somewhere else can be such a journey… and it makes me so happy this resonated with you, it’s comforting to know we can keep finding that feeling wherever life takes us~ 🥰💛
Thank you so much! ❤️ I’m really grateful for the opportunity to work with Dehancer-the color grading possibilities are incredible, and I’m so happy with the results! Looking forward to creating more with your awesome tools! 🎥✨
