I luv it and I HATE when people say that full coverage for special occasions. .Well whats wrong with wanting to look flawless everyday ? I dont want my redness or hyper pigmentation to show all the time but (specail occasions) thats CRAZY too me lol

Angela Garutti Probably because it is heavy and sometimes uncomfortable. I have acne and I hate going out without it covered but I still like a lightweight finish and I don't mind if a few spots show through a bit as long as most of the redness is gone. I hate when people say that you should stop wearing makeup or that my acne is caused by bb creams and such. I wish it worked like that lol.
Eden N ik what you mean ,do what makes you feel comfortable and make up in general does cause acne but when I have break outs I want to cover them.I just personally like flawless skin but am not blessed with it :( lol
I wish I could find a light weight foundation that was full coverage but did not look cakey
If you want good coverage and a natural finish try the Magic Cover BB cream by The Face Shop. It's a korean brand so you may have to order online and it sadly only comes in 2 colours but it does oxidize to your skin tone. Highly recommend for sure, it also doubles as a concealer.
This foundation was my HOLY GRAIL when I had my red, inflamed, and itchy cystic acne for 2 years. Now I have a tiny bit left of a bottle but I don't reach for it anymore because I simply don't require the coverage that it gives, as well as my preference in finish for foundations is more satin/dewy nowadays. However just because my skin needs/problems and preferences have changed, does not change that this foundation is amazing. I don't think it's necessary at all for an everyday person with mild skin issues, a moderate amount of redness and combo skin. This is more for a person with certain needs such as severe acne, severe oiliness, or hyper-pigmentation issues. Thanks Kat Von D for saving my confidence for years when no other brand could offer this coverage! :)

Kat Von D had actual tattoo covering in mind when she invented the lock it foundation and concealer.
I find it funny how people are supprised that its a very high coverage with a little amount, no duh! She is a tattoo artist its going to be able to cover tattoos.

what lipstick is that?
This foundation was so strange for me... When you first put it on, it's very nice looking. After a few hours... It started to get a bit shiny, and something HORRID happened! It started literally separating on my face, and the places on my skin that were just maybe SLIGHTLY dry, were totally exaggerated and shown. You know how I said it separated? Well, in one area, it completely came off of my face (due to majorrrrrr separation) near my jaw line. There was no longer any foundation in that area. It was so crazy! I had to get my flat top brush out and buff/blend it all together again, so that it wasn't separated looking! Did anyone else have this issue?
I had this issue with this foundation before too! I found it happened when I applied too much or didn't blend it out enough. I find that even when you think its blended enough, you should blend even more! A primer may help with this to get everything spread out more easily. Also, less is more with this foundation. That's gave me the best results :)

I tried the foundation again and i found it worked a little bit better. I first applied a primer, Hourglass immaculate if you're wondering, and then applied the foundation and made sure i REALLY buffed it in and then blended it in even more with a beauty blender. I usually apply concealer before my foundation, but I don't with this foundation so I can really blend the foundation. I noticed that it did apply and wear better than usual...
