There is a known issue with siege replays desynching, but I thought it was mostly resolved. Cannons do arc their shots, but very slighly. That hellstorm, tho, would have given you a lot of pain. Good job taking it out early. You should consider raising a second army. Even if it's just skelletons and zombies, they could be usefull as extra garrison or chaff to keep those elite units in Vlad's army alive. Also, don't sleep on crypt ghouls, they do a lot of damage to most units very quickly.
I'm afraid Elspeth has made a big mistake. With most of her forces destroyed here, I'm afraid Wissenland is going to have a hard time recovering!
