Great video, may need a mention to make sure to clean the air bleed hole especially if the heater has been in use for some time or the user has encountered white smoke being produced. 👍

Yes, that is a good point and in fact, I've had a message asking if I have a strip-down and clean video for the whole machine and that would be a good place to talk about that. However, I don't and don't have the need to do a strip down and clean... but... my friend's van heater is looking pretty smokey at the moment so no doubt I'm going to get roped in on that one so I'll do a vid then and I will be sure to include the atomiser chamber. Many thanks for your comment.👍

@@campervan_hackers thank you for getting back to me. Your video is certainly helpful, very clear and concise. It certainly gives confidence to those who otherwise wouldn't attempt it or those that tackle such jobs heavy handed, a bit like a bull in a China shop and break everything. 👍

@@stevew9957 where is the air bleed hole, my heater just dumps white smoke.

@@TakonaBear with the gauze removed, if you look into the hole you will see the air bleed hole. It's mentioned in the video. I use a piece of stiff piano wire bent at 90 degrees to clear any debris from the hole before replacing the gauze.

how do you know when to change the glow plug though? I have an espar and you need a special tool to disconnect the wires to change it.

Hi... on the CDHs, the wires are simply unplugged form the ECU .. there is a 2 pin connector. However, although none of my heaters are Ebers.... I thought they was similar except they have a waterproof inline plug that you can simply connect without special tools. This link for a Espar glow plug implied that? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/386852784440?_ul=GB

12mm box... you can get the slotted box spanner cheap as chips on eBay but also easy to make if you have a spare...
