@@RaGeRC ahh ok. Yeah the last 8 FMS planes I’ve gotten have an ESC manual also- some of them are a little odd, because it says you can reverse the rotation of the motor with the ESC, but doesn’t come with a signal cable which doesn’t make sense it would be easier to just swap two of the wires if you just want the motor to rotate the other way, but yeah, still a great video on something a lot of people don’t know about
Honestly I really like the both of them. They're both my favorite planes to fly because they're so acrobatic! U can't go wrong with either one! I would also recommend SMC Racing Lihv batteries they really bring out some power in these planes.
I used the gear channel (channel 5) being as tho this plane doesn't have retractable gear and it's already assigned to a switch (switch A) in my case. The yellow wire goes to the signal pin in the receiver (should be the top pin). I typically fly this plane on a 2600mah battery. I feel like anything higher than that would just be to heavy and negatively affect the planes flight characteristics and speed. The 2800 lihv pack from SMC racing batteries is also a good choice being as tho the weight of it is comparable to a normal 2600 lipo. Hope that helps.
Thank for the fast feed Back! SMC Lipo's and Great Battery's I have two 2600 to try Just wonderings ? have you played with the CG with the 2600? and Flight time is what with a 2600? Hope fully longer then 3 min i hope!!!Thanks again!!!@@RaGeRC
@kluper1157 I haven't measured the cg but I just make it slightly tail heavy from the book cg. Flight time depending on how you fly you can 3.5 to 4 mins if you're conservative on the throttle
I'm sure you can but It would be of no use as the Viper 50mm has no gear and you really don't want to hit thrust reverse while in flight. It would be disastrous
@@RaGeRC good point lol I never thought of that too be honest lol still be interested too see if it works as its not documented as you've mentioned. . landing gear next then
The yello cable is there, i connected it to channel 6 on my spektrum rx 620, but now I tried and I have no clue how to put this on switch. I tried and i didn't succeed. It's a shame. Does anybody know how to do it?
Go to "system setup", then scroll to "channel assign", then scroll down to "next" at the bottom scroll to channel 6 which is probably "aux 1" then pick which switch you want to use and your done. Hope this helps
@Peter Adler something must not be setup right. Make the yellow wire is in the signal pin on the receiver. Also make sure you're using a 2 position switch. On my transmitter I use switch A . Also make sure you don't have the same switch assigned to 2 different channels
Just have to look into my Rafale and connect that wire. Thanks a lot for sharing
Thank you!!
It’s mentioned in the ESC Manual they put in with the plane manual. But not advertised anywhere
That must be a new thing because mine didn't come with that esc manual. I got mine when this model was first released.

Sweet I got mine for Christmas and it's been raining since glad I got a chance to set up the reverse really appreciate the video
Awesome! Glad I could help!
Thats so cool love this trh. Revers mr. 😊
Awesome 👏 just great. Thanks.
Rage fantastic flying and great news about thrust revers. Zoom zoom zoom Jeff in LA USA
Thanks Jeff!
That's Awesome, going to go check mine!
Let me know if yours has it. I'm not 100% sure if all of them come with it.
@ragerc4358 I have an earlier model it doesn't. Hopefully my back up one in storage does.
Very nice, good to know!
Sweet! Between the freewing 64mm f 22 and the fms 64mm rafale, which do you like more?

I was hype for this but mine didnt come with it. Bummer.
what channel and switch did you use? Yellow wire to the + on your Receiver? have you tried a Higher MAH Lipo yet?

SWEET, Reverse is Great!!
Ottimo! Dove va collegato il filo giallo?
Optimal! where does the yellow cable go?
Plug it into an open channel on the receiver and in the transmitter set that channel up on a switch.
👍thanks
everything works ok thanks
@Beniamino Roberto Rende That's awesome! Good to hear!
I was wondering what the V2 designation entailed.
Amazing vídeo....I'm.loking for the fms 5000 receiver
I've got the same extra yellow lead on my arrows viper 50mm . do you know if I can do the same
I'm sure you can but It would be of no use as the Viper 50mm has no gear and you really don't want to hit thrust reverse while in flight. It would be disastrous

where can i buy one?

They're currently sold out but I'm sure they will have more in stock soon
that isn't a field, that sir, is a parking lot...
At the beginning of the flights I said I wasn't flying at the field because of the grass and that's why I'm at this parking lot.
Cool gimmick but totally not needed IMO as this aircraft when landed properly is not going very fast anyway.
