@@Honorbound43 I think it's a reference to the movie (and real story) of chariots of fire. It's about Harold Abrahams, an english jew, who ran in the 1924 Olympics and won gold.
Yes it is quite okay AND fun - to make fun of and have fun with our differences and our stereotypes. Sometimes it's true! And its okay to celebrate them - not pretend they dont exist. Who knows - maybe everyone would relax a bit and get along. IN the late 80s on the school bus to middle school :White, Indian, Jew, Arab. That was the majority. And man the slurs, the jokes, everything flew freely and to this day some of us are buddies....and we know how to swear in each language too :) Ended up ok. A smartphone business, a transportation business, a lawyer, and a government employee -- and no - the jew wasn't the one who became the lawyer :) All married, kids, life is ok. We didn't feel "OFFENDED!" and - wait for it ---we ate French fries and burgers and drank soda in school. Oddly don't remember having to run run run during certain drills - we didn't have those. Mind you, dog was spelled without a W ....and pop culture didn't promote angry gestures, tattoos, and violent behavior much either. Oh well, glad those racist horrible days are over. This is much better. 'Peace out" - lol
Jewish isn't a religion, its an ethnoreligion. You can practice as much or as little as you want and still be jewish. It isnt like christianity where you need to do a specific thing or believe a certain thing to be jewish. Its a culture, a set of ethics, AND a religion all at once. There are athiest jews who regularly attend shul, there are jews who never attend, theres others that only go on high holy days. All these people are equally jewish. According to jewish law, if youre mother is jewish, or you convert (or your dad is jewish in reform shuls) then you are legally jewish whether or not you follow kosher, keep shabbat, or attend shul. He is much more "jewish" than the white supremacist right wing jews who preach christian ideals to justify their bigotry. Throughout the show he mentions celebrating so many jewish holidays, as an adult and a child, and his jewishness is clearly important to him.

“Everyone hates the Jews, your mom is in the majority” will never fail to make me laugh
The sincerity of that line delivery makes it. Max Greenfield should have won all the Emmys!
That one really is hilarious!
The way he says it so happily 😂
@@kadabra4009 it’s a perfect delivery
Yea that one, the piss/pisch, and ruining Christmas for kids is bad for their brand were the best by far.
I completely missed what he was singing during that Christmas Carol...that was hysterical 😂
I love when Schmidt does the Jewish pronunciations
He pronounces shit wrong lmao
the h's sound so hard 😁😁

“You can’t outrun the Jewish” will always make me laugh. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if some person out there had it as their Tinder bio.
That one always killed me too.
I didn't get that one knowing Jews aren't athletic but I'm sure its not that easy

“if her last name is mendelson, she’s jewish. i’ll tell you what her first name is, it’s rachel” makes me cackle every time
"I'll tell you what her first name is too, it's Rachel." HOWLING.
The “everyone has exactly one time in their lives where they are irresistible to the opposite sex” line is remarkably accurate
Hahaha oh shit i peaked at 19
“You can’t out run the jewish” might be my favorite schmidt line in the entire series
Bro you can absolutely out run the Jewish it took us 40 years to cross the dessert
We’re slow as fuck
They were real heavy on the Jew jokes early on 💀💀
Hilarious 😄
The one with Winston saying he’s a Jewish boy in the desert was funny asf
Jews making fun of Judaism are the best kind of jokes, and this video is proof

Dammit, your making me want to watch the show all over again. My Netflix has been hinting I should rewatch it.😂
