Bobby: Let me show you this cool thing that happens in the torso! Also Bobby: *completely blocks the torso with his enormous thumb* Bobby: Really well done!
Pretty sure the ankle joint can go further. the legs along with a lot of the figure is shared with tarn. Wouldn’t make sense for them to limit the ankle pivot of the same foot.
Waist swivel? Mr. Skullface, you and Jobby would get along. That cut to a jab at Star Scream V.03 was chuckle worthy. I've got the Tarn, and this one looks just as awesome; but same here on the attachment to the character, so it's a pass though very tempting.
Dammit Bobby! There is coffee all over my computer with the Starscream bit. Good thing I am working from home or I would have to tell my coworkers it is a covid thing. Also the 80s called and wants those should pads back.
Ahhh, that wicked cool design from The War Within. I wonder if I can find the old Maketoys "Paladin/Chaos" and some of the accessory packs for fairly cheap... EDIT: That's a huge *NOPE*. Lowest price one on eBay is 200. 😑😑😑
Looks great. I just wish there was an easier way to just do one rechargeable battery that ports to the figure/base versus 12 pill size batteries that’ll eventually run out over time as well as they’d have to be removed when not in use. Price definitely hasn’t Fallen… eh..ehh…
Metal Club MuscleBear has a ko tarn. That might be an option for some if u need a tarn that looks that great? But the quality might or might not be there.
He was the main antagonist from the Transformers The War Within comic series. He was also the main bad guy in the Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen movie. He just looked a lot different. This figure is based off his original design, not the movie design.
As for the FEET….the ankle rocker on my Tarn was tight just like that for the first 20-30 manipulations lol. It’s still tighter than I like it so to speak, but I’ve had it for a couple years now and it’s better
By checking some pictures, it seems that the ankle rocker is there. As you said, the tolerances seem to be off. Personally I don't care about the Fallen (makes me remember Transformers 2 🤣) and it would have been good to have a face behind the face plate since many of the drawings of him showed him with a face (also to put their Prime, saying "gimme your face" and and having him pulling it out)
Hey Bobby. Why didn’t you compare him to your Tarn figure? He looks great but near identical to their Tarn (shoulders, head and colours aside) and that is what has put me off.
Agreed. Just looks like Tarn dressed as the Fallen for Halloween to me. Sword is pretty dope. Hope someone 3D prints copies of it. I'll supply my own chain.
Looks nice. too bad I can't afford stuff like this (no really, I truly can't lol) I'm not sure how well the toy will do in the long term though. I heard Flame Toys products (Sentinel) doesn't maintain the tightness overtime.
Heavily retooled from Tarn, but in this case an extremely good retool. Bobby I seem to remember you having an issue with your copy of Tarns ankle rocker aswell, but you found it had more eventually it’s just incredibly stiff. My copy of Tarn was the same but not as stiff so it would appear they haven’t fixed this tolerance issue. Sculpt is great and I love the chin sword and chain, great accessories. I don’t have an affiliation to the character so an easy pass. I just want them to do an origins Megatron like they have in kit form to go with Tarn, I’d be all over that.
I have Tarn, Black Star Saber, and Megatron at this point. They’re expensive, but damn are they awesome figures. Good review as per usual, Bobby. I’ve seen they’re planning a Cyclonus. Hopefully they do Nemesis, Banzaitron and/or Bludgeon in the Kuro Kara Kuri line.
As always, thanks for the content but I couldn't disagree more with your conclusion. Whilst they may have created something that feels distinct from their Tarn, it really isn't very accurate at all to The Fallen in the War Within source material. The legs, chest and weapons are very conspicuously Tarn and I think, if we're gonna ding MMC for these practices at a much lower price point then Flame Toys have to take the hit, too. More concerningly, the new sculpt shoulders and gorilla proportions are not very much like The Fallen, either...
Predator 2 is a 1990 American science fiction action film written by brothers Jim and John Thomas, directed by Stephen Hopkins, and starring Danny Glover, Ruben Blades, Gary Busey, María Conchita Alonso, Bill Paxton, and Kevin Peter Hall.
I agree. It's Tarns Halloween the Fallen costume. Not even a great costume at that. Like he bought the last one at Dollar General October 30th. Sword is pretty sweet though.
Yeah, I agree. It doesn't look like it's own thing to me at all. Looks like Flame Toys Tarn dressed up as the Fallen for Halloween. Sword is pretty cool, maybe someone will 3D print copies of it.
Wow. You aren't one to do the light effects but I can see why you went there on this one. It's actually an amazing piece...I just wish it would transform. Will this level of light-up always sacrifice a transformation and is it worth it? Sneaky Starscream, that was like an old school Bobby "Skit" Face!
It’s a nontransforming figure it has nothing to do with the electronics. Hasbro wouldn’t allow them to create transforming figures even if they wanted. Hope that helps
Sold on it as soon as you said, "And he comes with this fire chain sword..."
Only the initial run have the chain sword. the second run on don't include the chainsword or the masks.

Oh flamey. How the fallen has really fallen into the pit.

Damn it man! You got me with the Starscream, spit coffee all over the hotel 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was drinking some water but SAME
Loved that part. Hahahaha!
magnificent! I loled so hard at Starscream XD
Oh flame toys, how far you have……….Fallen.
Being a Mazinger fan is, somehow, what made me buy this thing.
Im having a good time with it.
And now all Flames Toys needs to do is make on that transforms.
Howling at the waist articulation part then sounding like a crazy person trying to explain why I'm laughing so much.
Thanks for the review!
WOOOW!! What an amazing figure! 😃😃
This looks so incredible. I love it. But $400+…. 😭

It is interesting that Flame Toys is one of the few companies that didn't do the big 6 in this line.
We have a waist swivel…”WHAAAAAAAT???” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Bobby "your figure is on fire" Face!
Metal Club MuscleBear has a ko tarn. That might be an option for some if u need a tarn that looks that great? But the quality might or might not be there.
special guest appearance from starscream!
I think the rockers in the feet are just stiff. the Tarn has the exact same legs and they have some posability.
11:53 jump Starscream caught me off guard
Mann!! He looks Fantastic! Just have no idea who he is😕♥️

I thought they already did a fallen was that not the last figure you reviewed? Just kidding that was Victory Saber
That is one gorgeous figure!
I do hate the price but it is what it is. I also hate sword is ore order bonus apparently? Ah well.

Ive Fallen and i cant get up! jk
why does he have tarns head?
Too bad it's a retool of tarn. Feels like a cop-out.

Tarn 2.0. It’s a pass for me
