I really appreciate your comment about Seokjin. Not so long ago (2-3 years) he was so underrated about his voice and more about his dancing and just look at him now ! He has improved so much and i am so proud of him.
I feel like he's always been good, but it's just that now (or more recently) he's been given more opportunities to shine and show what he's always possessed :)

Ok I’ll be real honest..when I first heard BTS like debut era. Jin’s vocal WAS the weakest, it felt .. choked(?). I swear I’m not in any way trying to put Jin down, or saying he’s a terrible singer but it felt at that time underdeveloped and lacked technique. Jin grew better vocally every single time, EVERY SINGLE COMEBACK..he sings beautifully and don’t get me started with his high vocals..cause WOW he slays! I also honestly think Jin is the most stable member. Is that just me?
Jimin Wifey Park well at first he had 0 experience in singing but he was still good, but yes after time passed he became great, and I think jin is the most stable vocalist too.
Its been more fair and more equal as the years and comebacks have rolled by, it depends on the style as they choose who they think sounds the best with each line
I think they are getting better and better because they now have not only the support from army but they are now acknowledged as real artists by the world. In the beginning they had nothing. I don’t think they will ever do less because they are crazy good creative talented guys who love music and all kinds of art so much. They just can’t go wrong even if they wanted to

I don’t think they have a problem with the level of their performances, just for the fact they can sit on stools and sing to us and we think that is the greatest thing ever. Example the Grammy performance vs this performance. They were completely opposite to each other but ARMY loved both. I think we all understand that they put effort into all their performances , some are high production extravaganzas ( usually shows or comeback tracks) and some are more simplistic but all are given to us with love and dedication. We appreciate any and all performances. They have always ridden high on their creativity and l don’t see that changing any time soon.
i know is a good thing that every body says that Jin is improving but he has had an amazing vocals skill and control since 8 cds ago. But people get so used to oversee him... like it is not a revelation, his notes are flawless.
A lot of ppl don’t consider bts Kpop bc they are so different and they do so many styles of music.Of course they are still Kpop but I think they can also be seen as other genres of music and not only Kpop, bc bts has done so much more then what other artist and Kpop artist have done.💜

That they didn’t just OUTPERFORM other kpop groups but also the most familiar & biggest names in the music industry. 🤷🏻♀️ Medium media also made an article that BTS achievements are beyond KPOP. That NO OTHER KPOP ARTIST has achieve like what BTS has achieved. NOBODY. Yes, other groups are doing great & amazing as well.. but well, numbers, charts,sales, awards + global recognition, massive BTS/ARMYs charities, even Starbucks collaboration(the first time ever) DON’T LIE. Even the SOUTH KOREAN GOVERNMENT honored them the HIGHEST Cultural Merit Award making them the youngest & first kpop group in history to received it. Korea was so proud of them for their achievements, that they decided to HONOR BTS not other groups🤷🏻♀️ No hate to others or to you, but I’ve seen a lot of fandoms also saying “oh BTS is kissing western ass” which I find so funny, coz other groups are trying so hard to be known in the west & even making English songs just to appeal to the American audience 🤷🏻♀️ while BTS remained true to their roots and are being invited and now part of THE MAINSTREAM. BTS always makes sure to set the bars higher each time. funny how you notice that since each rleases they make regardless it's a solo from a member or a track from their album or singles as a whole, when it comes to charting, it's like they end up being against them or each other but not in a bad way. like you'll see 1 song of their topping their other song who are or had been on the top charts/charting for quite a while now. and I think it's amusing when you get that kind of happening as it doesn't happen often to like... any other musicians. But what's keep them apart and being in such "standard" level (aside the fact that they're very versatile with their music and productions) is that as they get bigger and as they grow as top artists, they always work their ass off making sure they work as much or even harder than they ever did before each time. like, you just never see them slacking or being lazy on each performances nor songs they put out every time. you just don't. which is something you just don't see every day with people who gets really big/ popular as often times it works the other way around for most people. (atleast what we usually see) the "the more an artist gets Big and mainstream, the less effort they need to give since they already made it" which is I know... pretty F up, Shallow and lazy kind of mindset imo. Glad BTS isn't like that at all. although we, ARMYS of course will always be worried about their health too regarding that. as they ALWAYS works so hard. BTS is doing a lyrical dance, that's why they are dancing on barefoot. I used to dance and I know how hard it is dance for 3-4 minutes but they are also singing live while they are dancing is out of this world! This is one of the reason why I respect them because they've become such an artist and that separates them from the rest in the world. I really like how you explain their vocals and how passionate you are about music. I love dance and music and BTS has both and more. You should check out IU who is also very talented.
I really love your good comments about BTS especially about jin. Yes, some time ago people underestimated his vocal abilities, cuz basically he was not a singer. But he keep to work hard and now all the vocal coach praise his abilities. So proud of Jin. Thank u justin, love u 💜

Honestly right now there is no group on this planet that are better than bts neither from their music, dancing, entertaining nor engaging with fans. I mean Tae is even playing games with armys.Their artistic and creative content is just mindblowing and what amazes me the most is that they are so passionate for their craft even after all the exhausting busy schedules or the racist and xenophobic hate comments. They are mentally very strong, others would long have given it up but not them so I have huge respect for them. You're right maybe there will be some contents that will not be liked as others but they have a huge discography and you will always find songs you like cuz they always try new and different things, they never stagnate. And for the expectations getting too high, I think that the expectations for other artists are also going higher after bts is bringing out so much.
the high expectations they have for heir performances and their job, in general, has made me set my expectations of not only them, well not really cause with them I know that ill get good music, it's good because they worked so hard to create it and they put so much thought into every note and lyric I know I won't be disappointed, I trust them that much. now is every song my absolute favorite, no, but I enjoy every song. anyway my expectations for myself in life and for whatever I am doing so been set higher because of them.

Based on the "brand" thing, i'm not a "fan" of K-Pop, due to the "manufactured" feel, and the cliche concepts for the most groups, especially the bigger ones. But with BTS, since they have hip hop as a starting base, and with the freedom they were given by the Company, it rarely has the "k-pop feel". And they can go from Boy with Love (k-pop-ish) to Mic Drop, Dyonisus, Outro: Tear to Singularity or Epiphany which helps them to reach a broader audience with the different genres, even though at the base, it's hip hop and/or pop.
Your every comment is so true. Everyone has improved so much from before. It is the result of their hard work and years of experience. Especially Jin who was not good at dancing before but every BTS members stated in an interview that among all of them, Jin is the most hard working one and they all envy his confidence😀

Being unable to perform to or above their own standards is a worry BTS has mentioned but they also said they’re determined to never let that happen. I don’t want them to be pressured to the point they continuously harm themselves. Their health is more important than the spectacular.💜
When you pointed how taehyung's tone was so very different than the rest of the vocal line, i remember reading a vlog a few years ago saying his vocals don't get the attention it deserves because most of bts' songs are pop and naturally suited to jk, jm and jin's voices. So when his solos come out, some people are always blown away by his velvety vocals. (I especially love his vocals in 4 o'clock. 😍) For the past few albums, it got better. V and even Jin's voice got showcased more. Critics used to look down on bts vocal line, and yes they each still have things to improve on, but collectively, they're a solid line kinda like a string quartet = jk the viola, jimin and jin the violins, and of course v is the cello. Together, they always sound amazing.
Jungkooks voice moves was on point... The most funny thing is he didn't even say a word on James corden show but he trended #1 in many countries for his dance and voice... He is a living pro.. Effortlessly attractive

I absolutely love the versitality that BTS have in their sound, like you can be in a mood for harder hitting/heavier sound, a catchy high energy track or some beautifull slow songs and find it all within their discography. What's even more amazing though is how much ARMY embraces all those different styles, I don't think I've ever seen a fandom quite as open to see the artist experimenting with differet things Regarding them setting the bar so high, I've rearly, if ever, seen an ARMY take the level of effort they put into it for granted. I'm sure with time the way they perform will change, that's inevitable, but the effort and care they put into each performance is what I think we all truly appreciate and I highly doubt that will ever change. That being said they definietely raised my expectations for other artists, and I think as long as they truly love what they do I don't have to worry about the quality of their performance

But I have no doubt they will still put just as much care and effort into their performances and will find other ways to make them special

I agree 100% with what you said at the end. People one day will probably take it for granted, comparing. It's actually what happened after the wings era? Or maybe hyyh? People kept saying "bts went downhill after those eras" which I don't agree with and I've been a fan since 2014. Just cause they tried out new stuff doesn't mean they went downhill. But when the day comes where army's start saying I expected something more from something already great, I'll be sad.

This dance is a lyrical style which is for a professional dancer level and BTS perfected as expected! As an ex dancer, I know how hard it is to just dance but sining live while dancing at this level is unreal! BTS is so perfect at singing and dancing at the same time, most people think they lip sync but they are not! You can tell that they practice so many hours and times to put on great shows! I hope they can take down a notch so they don’t hurt them selves!

Exactly they are inspiring and it's due to not just talent but practice! Lots of practice. They always talk abt practicing and how to improve. They know they aren't perfect but they always strive for perfection which gives us excellent performances. I started my weight journey from being inspired by them. They never fail to surprise me.

I totally agree with you. They are constantly giving such amazing performances that I think when they do a more minimalist approach people are less interested. I think they also feel the pressure of trying to top there last performance, but now with this new album...I feel like they are just trying to enjoy the music and performing. Trying to worry less about being the best but just enjoy doing what they love. And you can see in their lyrics that something has changed. So I can not wait to see what their other songs sound like!
Good point. With bts we never know what to expect and amazingly they also go beyond over our expectation. Thats why i think western music are crazy about them coz they always bring somthing fresh to the table 😄 they combine theirmusic with art which is awesome nobody doin it like them before.

I'm not disappointed at all tho) and I just want to say thank you for what you said about them. you seem so genuine when you talk about how their different styles inspire the music industry. thanks for supporting them, not just because they're popular, but because you recognize their hard work and talent that goes into their performances and music. you also mentioned how it becomes easy to take advantage of such a good performance after seeing so many, so thank you for realizing that and not taking advantage of it. For the backtrack what i've noticed is that they are more evident or louder with the vocal line and i think there's a reason for this: as their voices are layered in the studio track, i think that the 'loud' backtrack in the live performance during these parts aims to maintain the same effect on the live performance. While one of the mebers sings live, the other vocals can still be heard in the bg.

I don’t think they have a problem with the level of their performances, just for the fact they can sit on stools and sing to us and we think that is the greatest thing ever. Example the Grammy performance vs this performance. They were completely opposite to each other but ARMY loved both. I think we all understand that they put effort into all their performances , some are high production extravaganzas ( usually shows or comeback tracks) and some are more simplistic but all are given to us with love and dedication. We appreciate any and all performances. They have always ridden high on their creativity and l don’t see that changing any time soon.
i know is a good thing that every body says that Jin is improving but he has had an amazing vocals skill and control since 8 cds ago. But people get so used to oversee him... like it is not a revelation, his notes are flawless.
A lot of ppl don’t consider bts Kpop bc they are so different and they do so many styles of music.Of course they are still Kpop but I think they can also be seen as other genres of music and not only Kpop, bc bts has done so much more then what other artist and Kpop artist have done.💜

That NO OTHER KPOP ARTIST has achieve like what BTS has achieved. NOBODY. Yes, other groups are doing great & amazing as well.. but well, numbers, charts,sales, awards + global recognition, massive BTS/ARMYs charities, even Starbucks collaboration(the first time ever) DON’T LIE. Even the SOUTH KOREAN GOVERNMENT honored them the HIGHEST Cultural Merit Award making them the youngest & first kpop group in history to received it. Korea was so proud of them for their achievements, that they decided to HONOR BTS not other groups🤷🏻♀️ No hate to others or to you, but I’ve seen a lot of fandoms also saying “oh BTS is kissing western ass” which I find so funny, coz other groups are trying so hard to be known in the west & even making English songs just to appeal to the American audience 🤷🏻♀️ while BTS remained true to their roots and are being invited and now part of THE MAINSTREAM. But others disregard that out of hate or jealousy maybe?🤷🏻♀️ and obviously others didn’t know how historic BTS achievements coz they don’t follow bts as well. BTS always makes sure to set the bars higher each time. funny how you notice that since each rleases they make regardless it's a solo from a member or a track from their album or singles as a whole, when it comes to charting, it's like they end up being against them or each other but not in a bad way. like you'll see 1 song of their topping their other song who are or had been on the top charts/charting for quite a while now. and I think it's amusing when you get that kind of happening as it doesn't happen often to like... any other musicians. But what's keep them apart and being in such "standard" level (aside the fact that they're very versatile with their music and productions) is that as they get bigger and as they grow as top artists, they always work their ass off making sure they work as much or even harder than they ever did before each time. like, you just never see them slacking or being lazy on each performances nor songs they put out every time. you just don't. which is something you just don't see every day with people who gets really big/ popular as often times it works the other way around for most people. (atleast what we usually see) the "the more an artist gets Big and mainstream, the less effort they need to give since they already made it" which is I know... pretty F up, Shallow and lazy kind of mindset imo. Glad BTS isn't like that at all. although we, ARMYS of course will always be worried about their health too regarding that. as they ALWAYS works so hard. You just can't help but to get worried sometimes.

BTS is doing a lyrical dance, that's why they are dancing on barefoot. I used to dance and I know how hard it is dance for 3-4 minutes but they are also singing live while they are dancing is out of this world! This is one of the reason why I respect them because they've become such an artist and that separates them from the rest in the world. I really like how you explain their vocals and how passionate you are about music. I love dance and music and BTS has both and more. You should check out IU who is also very talented.

Honestly right now there is no group on this planet that are better than bts neither from their music, dancing, entertaining nor engaging with fans. I mean Tae is even playing games with armys.Their artistic and creative content is just mindblowing and what amazes me the most is that they are so passionate for their craft even after all the exhausting busy schedules or the racist and xenophobic hate comments. They are mentally very strong, others would long have given it up but not them so I have huge respect for them.
You're right maybe there will be some contents that will not be liked as others but they have a huge discography and you will always find songs you like cuz they always try new and different things, they never stagnate. And for the expectations getting too high, I think that the expectations for other artists are also going higher after bts is bringing out so much.

Based on the "brand" thing, i'm not a "fan" of K-Pop, due to the "manufactured" feel, and the cliche concepts for the most groups, especially the bigger ones. But with BTS, since they have hip hop as a starting base, and with the freedom they were given by the Company, it rarely has the "k-pop feel". And they can go from Boy with Love (k-pop-ish) to Mic Drop, Dyonisus, Outro: Tear to Singularity or Epiphany which helps them to reach a broader audience with the different genres, even though at the base, it's hip hop and/or pop.

Being unable to perform to or above their own standards is a worry BTS has mentioned but they also said they’re determined to never let that happen. I don’t want them to be pressured to the point they continuously harm themselves. Their health is more important than the spectacular.💜
When you pointed how taehyung's tone was so very different than the rest of the vocal line, i remember reading a vlog a few years ago saying his vocals don't get the attention it deserves because most of bts' songs are pop and naturally suited to jk, jm and jin's voices. So when his solos come out, some people are always blown away by his velvety vocals. (I especially love his vocals in 4 o'clock. 😍)
For the past few albums, it got better. V and even Jin's voice got showcased more.
Critics used to look down on bts vocal line, and yes they each still have things to improve on, but collectively, they're a solid line kinda like a string quartet = jk the viola, jimin and jin the violins, and of course v is the cello. Together, they always sound amazing.

I absolutely love the versitality that BTS have in their sound, like you can be in a mood for harder hitting/heavier sound, a catchy high energy track or some beautifull slow songs and find it all within their discography. What's even more amazing though is how much ARMY embraces all those different styles, I don't think I've ever seen a fandom quite as open to see the artist experimenting with differet things
Regarding them setting the bar so high, I've rearly, if ever, seen an ARMY take the level of effort they put into it for granted. I'm sure with time the way they perform will change, that's inevitable, but the effort and care they put into each performance is what I think we all truly appreciate and I highly doubt that will ever change. That being said they definietely raised my expectations for other artists, and I think as long as they truly love what they do I don't have to worry about the quality of their performance

This dance is a lyrical style which is for a professional dancer level and BTS perfected as expected! As an ex dancer, I know how hard it is to just dance but sining live while dancing at this level is unreal! BTS is so perfect at singing and dancing at the same time, most people think they lip sync but they are not! You can tell that they practice so many hours and times to put on great shows! I hope they can take down a notch so they don’t hurt them selves!

Exactly they are inspiring and it's due to not just talent but practice! Lots of practice. They always talk abt practicing and how to improve. They know they aren't perfect but they always strive for perfection which gives us excellent performances. I started my weight journey from being inspired by them. They never fail to surprise me.

I totally agree with you. They are constantly giving such amazing performances that I think when they do a more minimalist approach people are less interested.
I think they also feel the pressure of trying to top there last performance, but now with this new album...I feel like they are just trying to enjoy the music and performing. Trying to worry less about being the best but just enjoy doing what they love. And you can see in their lyrics that something has changed. So I can not wait to see what their other songs sound like!

I've been an army for years and, while they gets tons of support, I've also seen some pretty harsh critics get at them. this is the first video of yours that I've seen (sorry!! I'm not disappointed at all tho) and I just want to say thank you for what you said about them. you seem so genuine when you talk about how their different styles inspire the music industry. thanks for supporting them, not just because they're popular, but because you recognize their hard work and talent that goes into their performances and music. you also mentioned how it becomes easy to take advantage of such a good performance after seeing so many, so thank you for realizing that and not taking advantage of it.

For the backtrack what i've noticed is that they are more evident or louder with the vocal line and i think there's a reason for this: as their voices are layered in the studio track, i think that the 'loud' backtrack in the live performance during these parts aims to maintain the same effect on the live performance. While one of the mebers sings live, the other vocals can still be heard in the bg.
