I used it while I stayed there but haven’t gotten my nose on it since! Would love to get my hands on it again. I have the 90s vintage Angel. That opening is breathtaking. Photo realistic caramel apples / chocolate but that pugnant tar base is absolutely revolting! The angel dna has definitely not lasted current trends as that base is just harsh and funky. Its just bizaree to smell a funky gourmand as 99.9% of gourmands all smell edible. Angels flankers surpass the original. Maybe the reforms axe the tar vibe?

I wear the heck out of Angel, it's actually a summer go to for me - lately I've been wearing straight up 100% patchouli oil, but I want to go back to Amen - even the L'Oréal version IS nice, soapier, cherryish, not as chocolatey though, and, not the same - def not the same!
That would be a tough one -- the Angelman and it's flankers. Especially the on with the metal bottle. I'd probably end up keeping that one just for sentimental purposes. :) It's also so wild to see how the colors have changed over the years of each fragrance. I'm tempted to pull out the huge box of frangrances in my closet to see if it has happened to all of mine also.
Pure tonka bottles are going for over 300$ now on ebay , my question would be how much would people pay in the US for that bottle if they see that on fb groups for example (sealed)?

I have a newer batch, the opening is straight tar with this really harsh sweet note, and then it will dry down into a really good gourmand.
