Advice: Journal All the Highs and lows and at what days they are formed from the year 2023-2024 and try relating them with economic calendar. Try to risk as low as possible like if you risk 0.15$=0.3% of 50$ and you goes on 30 losing streak of trades then that would be just 4.5$= 9% of your trading account and also try to get your stoploss at breakeven. You should only be taking 5 trades in a month. Don't go on rushing and over trading. If You don't know that: 1:What you are looking for? 2: Where your trade setup is likely to be formed And when? Then you should be studying alot not executing! Journal your trades because it is the Best book you will ever read: 1: Journal your best trades with a reason. 2: Journal your worst trades alot and in depth.
100% agree on Omor's point of 'when you come full circle after 1-2 years, you will realise simplicity is profitability'. Wasted so much time attributing my losses to a 'lack of knowledge' which is not true. A trade with 10 confluences will still lose and a trade with 3 confluences will still win, the only way you can find out is to trade it with proper risk and consistency. Take every single trade that aligns with your edge. It is that simple. Do not let other traders affect your confidence in your edge. Trust your data and backtest. Nowadays everyone is selling some sort of enigma, if such enigma works they wouldn't be selling it. Honestly i feel that lots of trader influencers are deliberately overcomplicating their trades so they can justify the prices of their course. Cheers and all the best in your trading journey!

Enigma or whatever THE algo is called does exist & pieces of it have been given away for free right here on RUclips to anyone willing to look, listen & learn. Most don't have the patience to put the work in. They want it handed to them on a plate right now. Their impatience is why they will fail racking up 10 confluences for a winning trade that doesn't work out because, well sometimes the strategy just doesn't work. Controlling my impatience (sometimes) is why I (sometimes) succeed more & more everyday.

Omar is correct, overcomplication of trading is a trap. After 15 years of trading myself simplicity is the name of the game. The best setups are plain obvious. ICT has some excellent concepts but using all of them simultaneously is a recipe for disaster. Your edge is a combination of 50% a simple technical trading strategy (newbies believe the technicals are 90%). The other 50% is restraining your ego from taking shitty setups in-between your A+ setups. The ego is what derails traders from being the best they can be in this game.

Vice versa, on Bullish week. Finally, if on the perfect bias week, we get Monday Manipulation , Tuesday Wednesday Thursday red days, we might get a Friday Retracement.

NBB is a good thinker generically. Management of stops is what I find very interesting 🤩. In April 2024, I took 7 losses amounting to -1.6% even though my initial risk was 1% per setup. That's what happens when you are very objective. NBB is a smart guy no doubt 👏👏

Honestly I was so relieved to hear that, all you need monthly is to take at least 5 trades. Bro I'm on day 7 of looking for opportunity and still nothing. I have no problem waiting but damn, more waiting is waiting on me I guess.
If you you trade inraday, the news calendar tell you when your set up will form and in line with weekly profile formation, then you wait for the kill, I disregard this so much, but is very important part of my plan, reduce the time waiting for set up to few hours a week, mostly 1 to 3 trades a week, more than enough to end the week with not a big draw down if you wrong, you loose 3, stop and study, because must be something wrong in other aspect of your trading, and if you can trade NY is easier IMO, because LO should tell the story of what is going to happen in NY, plus weekly news calendar study, instead begin of the month study also seasonality, entry after NY news only if there if there arent no trade etc, so the trading sessio most week become just a couple for 1 pair, and 1 pair is all is needed
What I mean you cant wait 7 days for a trade, even if is a swing trade, you should be able to know when your entry set up should show up, no fear of loosing it, if come before evwn better, you cannuse as confirmation, you just need consistency and calculate loss to be positiveand the end of week and month
