Hi Dan. Great video! 2 questions, do you know if I can setup the app to search current notion databases without creating a template. Also, love the screenrecording. What software do you use for your screen recording? I really like the big mouse with the big mouse clicks! 😊

Are there any similar competitive Notion based App builder in the market at the moment?

Plenty of website builders like super.so, but I'm not aware of any of the big web app builders using Notion as a backend db. Found a landing page for Softr as well but not sure if it's in dev

@@danleeman yes I have come across these and explored as well but not as capable I feel. Still a bit rudimentary. Of all these Notion type apps I am still struggling to find one that has an intuitive front end app facing capability that’s easy to build. Mainly for client facing dashboards. It would be really powerful if these businesses like notion and Coda etc could have that element - that may cause a big disruption to the market especially in low code platforms. Happy to be updated if you come across something as I will keep looking.

@@TheSouvikDey Does NotionApps not resolve your use case? Are there some capabilities missing from the tool that you'd need?

@@nocodeexplorer Thanks for reaching out. Yes while NotionApps is great for mobile centric display of information - it lacks the Web facing element. Not sure since the last update here whether NotionApps now has managed access based on Login for certain users etc. if not that again is something that is a requirement. I manage a business area which deals with plenty of clients so showing them status of their project and substaks + uploading documents, their invoices etc. is critical. So far EasyPortal linked to SmartSuite is promising but that too has some shortcomings and the restriction to link only to SmartSuite. I continue to explore this area but so far did not come across anything promising. Worth mentioning I explored Moxo but that has no PM or Data Analysis component like Notion, ClickUp etc.
