@@StevenHeapRecipes will do mate and loving your videos of Brum . I lived in ladywood then Harbourne so know the pubs you visited back in the day when they were just pubs but way more exciting now
@@stevebehan thanks, yes times have changed so much. I'd like to make a video of most of the pubs that have now been occupied by people who offer Indian food. 1 a week so far
Amazing flavours Steve
Going to make this later. In the ingredients for the spice mix. You have 1tablespoon of coconut cream powder. But don't see you use it in the recipe. Oh.. you need to add the mace in the description help please
(get that kitchen finished)
Thanks Ian, coconut went into the mix powder mate. I'll add the mace to ingredients. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm so busy. Builder starts Monday in New kitchen
this is an Anglo Indian dish.. and was British .. that's why it is beef
I understand Hindus don't eat beef but that doesn't explain why beef madras ( in fact any beef meal ) have disappeared from most Muslim-run Indian restaurants. Any ideas?
I like points like this and I hope that others can contribute to the thread. It is often referred to as 'meat' on the menus and isn't as popular as lamb or chicken.
