Today Anthony Ramos published his new song. I listened it with my papa in the car exactly 48 minutes after publishing. Pa just listened. He donʼt understand English very well, but I know, he liked it. And I? Huh, itʼs really funny, because I feel like Iʼve known this melody since years - not since a few hours. This beat, Anthonyʼs voice and papa tapping the steering wheel in the rhythm of song - all these things made my smile. Dear diary, Iʼm so thankful that we have Anthony Ramos. I donʼt wanna think how many smiles our world would lost without him. I wait for more his songs and more reasons to smile.

We all struggle and have things or people at 'home' that we wish to run away from or evade but the most important thing in life is family and forgiveness. @@RA82828 thank you so much! i am doing so much better four years on from my comment. when i wrote that comment, i was a very angry teenager who was just projecting. i'm now twenty-one and i'm doing considerably better which i'm grateful for. and looking back at my original comment, i wasn't always an ungrateful child, i was actually a good kid cause there was no reason for me to act out. of course i had my moments as a kid as does everyone but, i wasn't a bad kid at all. the "acting out" even though i wouldn't really call it that, was happening when i was around fifteen/sixteen when i really wasn't mentally well. but thank you for your comment, it was really kind of you to do that. and i hope you are also well and living a beautiful life as well.
These new York City summers are my deepest memory. The people on the porch playing domino, the music blasting from inside, the kids running through the fire hydrant "sprinkler", the flags of each his own to love and think of home. Though my family had never been one of this kind, I am grateful for meeting families so beautiful and humble as his. This song is too beautiful, and feels like home.
