- Hello! Here is My Booker Prize and Women's Prize Longlist 2023 Reaction. I know I'm late, I was in Peru (look out for vlogs on that coming soon), but I wanted to talk about my thoughts about some of the books that have been longlisted. Let me know if you want me to read the shortlist for either of these prizes, or any thoughts you have.

Great video! I recently read Standing Heavy and absolutely LOVED it
Thank you!
I'm reading look forward to Standing Heavy, Boulder and Stillborn are my most excited to read off the International Booker Longlist. I've read five books off the Women's Prize so much. Trespasses didn't work for me.
My favourite is Wandering Souls. I'm reading Bandit Queens and I'm so psyched.
I read Stone Blind and loved it and then I started Thousand Ships and I soft dnfed it. I think Stone Blind is really interesting and she's matured as a writer over the past four years.
That's interesting, thank you for sharing your thoughts!
I’m reading both lists. My favourite from the IB list is Time Shelter. I have read three up to yet. I have read nine on the WP list. I really enjoyed Pod, Glory, Demon and I’m A Fan, I liked all of my other reads too :-)
That's a lot of reading! Glad you're enjoying it
The international booker isn’t speaking to me this year. The womens prize looks better!
I feel the opposite I think! Maybe because the women's prize was so disappointing last year I'm still weary
