I work overnight, and lately I've found it difficult to also find time for my personal projects. On my days off, I'm often up at night alone, trying to put together my thoughts and push forward with my art. Thank you for Lofi Boy. He's simple, it's just a cartoon for a music channel, but I can tell he means more to the creator(s). Lofi Girl represents a struggle we can all relate to and a universal means to handle it: Music. Lofi Boy taps into a more emotional version of that, and it's an aesthetic I can relate to personally.
You guys probably don't know but everything we see in this video calls to places in Lyon. Notably the museum of good arts in Hôtel de Ville and more precisely Place des Terreaux and Parc de la Tête d'Or, where Synthwave Boy leaves his note. I believe that if I were to go there I could find the exact bench !
I love how they're sticking with Lyon. I've only been there a bunch but recognize every part this takes place it makes it very grounded (except they're would be way more people in the day)
I can't believe this is where that odd little channel chilled cow went...I'm glad I really enjoyed the old stuff because this lore is getting good and I love the art more every video!
