Recorded in black and white in 1858, just two years after it was composed. Considering that the wet plate collodion smart phone had only been introduced in 1851, and Wi-Fi signals still had to be carried in cannisters on horseback, the sound and image quality are quite remarkable. To think I'd be around to see this thing finally upload...amazing.
What a beautiful performance. And if you can play that simple system flute (9 or 11 keys?) so incredibly well, it is in no way inferior to a Boehm. Its sound is even better. Brava!
Hats off everyone and I mean everyone who ever spent thousands of hours blowing into a hole in a peice of wood or metal hoping that something beautiful might result - eventually.
This is extraordinary good and very pleasant to listen to.
