    In the video I said "ischiotuberous" ligament, sorry I was wrong it should be "sacrotuberous" ligament.

    I found this extremely informative. You are describing a patient that I had problems diagnosing properly. Thank you so much😳👍

    Amazing video, how would you as a Dr. differ PN from OI pain as they can mimic each other if blocks did not help?

    The injection may confirm the diagnosis, but what are the treatments after that is accomplished?

      @dr.terkawi  6 месяцев назад

      The injection can be both diagnostic and therapeutic. Please talk to your local doctor.

      @@dr.terkawi Thank you! Do you perform Serrates ant pr posterior for acute pain rib fractures treatment?

      @@evgenyreider8596 Yes, it can be an option based on the site of fracture.

      @@dr.terkawi Thank you! Couple of questions about serrates block. Where do you put the tip of the catheter and what is the suggested rate according to different numbers of the fractured ribs? How does the location of the fractures (and number of the fractured ribs) influence your decision of the injection site and direction of the needle / catheter?

    Do you ever use PRP for obturator tendonitis? I have heard steroids can be bad for tendons? I believe I have had an obturator internus issue for 8+ years. Misdiagnosed as groin strain, labral tear, hamstring tendinopathy with many failed treatments. The sit pain drives me crazy. If I was in California I would come see you…

    • @dr.terkawi
      @dr.terkawi  Год назад

      I have not used PRP and not seen a research support that. This condition is relatively rare and thus we do not have a lot of evidence based medicine. PRP might help for tendonitis.

    Can you show flouroscopic injection approach for this structure?
    And show flouroscopic approach for all of your videos in addition to ultrasound?

    Dr with a hip that is necrosis will that affect the pain on the outside of my skin. I did start with staph inf on both buttocks but not bad but I always feel like I am sitting on something and nothing is showing up in the MRIs I don't understand how that could be only pain I'm in is so bad most days I don't know how I'm going to survive waiting to get my hip done I'm a very strong woman I guess. It took a long time to get right hip done now 8 mths later I'm almost ready for other hip. I wish I could send pictures of the changes that my buttocks have gone through I still feel the deep inside there is a staph infection but nobody has gone deep and enough to look. Everything is blamed on my hip because it's so bad. I'm also constipated so bad but then I'm able to go and empty. I always feel constipated. All these symptoms have not always been here they just have happened over time. I understand I had to quit smoking and lose weight and I did it that's how bad I wanted this surgery. Amen. But I'm pretty much bedridden it's too painful to sit on my butt I hate feeling like I'm sitting on something. Anyway can you give me any input on what you do that could help someone like me do you think I can fit on my bottom one day again?

      I am sorry you are going through all this pain. I am sorry I cannot provide consultation outside my clinic. I will be happy to see you in my clinic in Stanford Pain Medicine.

      @@dr.terkawi thank you. I spent awhile trying to find out how and what I do to change insurance. I'm so happy I did that well I would have switched to the wrong insurance. I also understand that you do clinical trials and I was trying my best to find out how one becomes part of a clinical trial but I failed at that one. Hopefully the pain department I just had a zoom meeting with for the first time will get the ball rolling in terms of getting an injection so that I can be comfortable for once. I do have a question in terms of feeling a nerve pain issue but if there's nothing on an MRI or an ultrasound then can you just feel like there's something there but there really isn't nothing there it's just your nerves lying to you. I don't know if that's the right way to ask but if you're going to give somebody an injection to numb the area that is bothering you. The area is not palpable to no one but me so how do I prove to a doctor that what I'm feeling is real
