The weird onion buds are its flowers beginning to form. They are called Scapes and are very tasty sauted in butter The onion won't grow anymore so oik it out and eat it. 👍🌱
Mate...dig that horse radish out and grow in a pot like everything else! I took on our plot 2 years ago...dug 2 foot deep to get it all out and still back this year 😂 Very tasty though if you don't mind it taking over 😂
The onion that is flowering will not grow any more so you can either pull it and use it or let it flower and then go to seed 😊 Not sure about shallots but probably the same. Have a great week away you two 🤗
