The price of these boots reflect the cost of the elephant leather and that they are hand made. The heel counter is soft on purpose, a firm elephant heel with bust your heel. But if you want them to be stiffer they’ll make them stiffer.
Now our dude is out here getting involved in the community picking up trash in his new elephants. You're the best Jeremiah. Happy Thanksgiving from Texas.
Love the cigar color, never seen that color before Jeremiah, like the toe shape too. Recycling and trash pick up is better important, thank you for doing your citizen part. Picking up trash in style, lol. Another great review brother.
Congrats on your new Way Out West elephant cowboy boots!! William Miller is such a cool approachable guy and his boot maker is one of the best in my estimation. Definitely one of my grail boots when the timing is right.
Hey man, my wife would absolutely put a hurting on me if I bring just one more pair of cowboy boots in the house. But I’m willing to sacrifice myself for a pair of these babies. I can’t afford them but would love to have them. These are my Christmas wish list, size men’s 10D. If my wife finds out about this I may have to move “Way Out West” to survive. Yeehaw!!, Ride’em Cowboy!!! 🤠👍🏾
Those are a fantastic looking pair of elephant boots. The color and grain of the elephant is awesome. That unslung heel and toe shape gives the boots a very classy look.
For $2K I'd have to say pass.... Don't get me wrong they are very nice. The same thing is seen in the frag/perfume world. Is a 100ml of a niche perfume at $2600 worth it? Some would say a $159 niche is just as good if not better. I guess it depends on your taste and budget.
I like your channel but the Prescott is a horseman boot, so if they are trying to compare this boot with that then should the boot be tested by riding a horse with it?
Nice work on the cleanup. Great way to do something positive, get video content and test the boots. I wish people would start using their own cups for Starbucks at a minimum…
It’s good to see another boot that’s made in my hometown of El Paso. But yea for 2k it’s not a good comparison to Tecovas. Still nice boot, not sure if it’s worth 2K
I like the video. I like the boots. But, in my opinion, the "Average Person" can not afford $2.000. boots and the "Average" Affluent who could afford them are NOT going to wear such boots to perform manual labor especially in a semi hostile environment irrespective of how tough the leather is reputed to be. So, if an Average Joe did acquire a pair; he would not wear them on a roadside litter pickup. If the the Average Stockbroker had a pair; he would most likely wear them in a White Collar Setting or upscale gathering. I think, the putting the boots to the test realistically would be in a manner more commensurate with where that Style of Boot is likely to be worn and engaging that type of activity. As previously stated, just my opinion.
great video. elephant hide is a tough skin. Out west boots I feel just wanted to get its name out there. If you really want to know the quality of a. boot maker, cut their boots in half and look at the construction. do they use all leather throughout the boot for one. do they use lemon pegs second. what type of shank do they use, metal or thick hide third. is the insole made out of leather, fourth, and is the heel all stacked leather fifth. of course the sewing and inner lining is important as well. I'm sure out west boot is a great boot maker. those boots you demonstrated for them should have cost around eight hundred unless they were custom made for your foot, then I can see them costing over a thousand. Tecovas are mass produced in Mexico and thus come in at a lower price. the same applies to Tecovas are they constructed with what I. mentioned? Cut both in half and then we the public can see exactly what they are made off and how they are made off. Just saying. When I buy a pair of boots I don't look at name brand but construction and the boot maker. Boot making is becoming a lost art but there are still great bookmakers out there that make one boot at a time and not use an assembly line. again thank you for your presentation.
They're nice, and I wouldn't mind owning some elephant boots, but I certainly am not able to spend $2K for them. Nor would I even if I had the money. Tecovas are more my speed anyway.
I always think "better" can be subjective, especially when you aren't comparing things from the same price range. The boots do look great and sound like they are well made.
I'm done with Tecovas. I broke the heal counter and found out they are plastic. WTF??? Yea, they are less costly but even beater boots shouldn't "break". Cuts, dents, scratches yes but not brake and cause heal rub.
Only way to break the heel counter is if you are using your right foot with boot on to kick off the left boot and vice versa also working in their non work line boots. Besides any cobbler can take the heel counter out and replace it with whatever you want.
I do have a brand new pair of elephant boots from a local shop. Still pretty much with no real scuffs on the leather outsole. However, I don’t quite like the looks of it and I’m debating of just selling them. On the other hand how often do people run into elephant boots at a good price. Can someone give some advice on what I should do please?
Hello Jeremiah. I was wondering if you could do a review on Camel leather. Everyone has mixed opinions, some say its great, some say its below average, some say it smells really weird and stinky. Id like to hear your thoughts
But you could buy 4+ Tecovas for the price of that one boot. But price aside I like my Tecovas they do have a good 1-2 day break in for me but they’ve held up great so far.
Enjoy the video as always JC ! At the end of the video wondering what part of the construction / quality specifically was superior to Tecovas though ? Not a Tecovas fanboy, promise, though I do have 4 pair and love them as I haven’t had any issues. My Chisos are my jam though. Cheers all
Great boots. But for 2K a weak heelcounter is unacceptable. The boot has to be perfect.
The price of these boots reflect the cost of the elephant leather and that they are hand made. The heel counter is soft on purpose, a firm elephant heel with bust your heel. But if you want them to be stiffer they’ll make them stiffer.

I love that Way Out West boot, Wish I could afford a pair in my size 14.5 or 15D. Well done William & Jeremiah. 👍
Feel your pain. I am also a 15D🤠

Man those are super sharp i would love to have a pair good video 👍🏽

you should do a video on the ariat gallup ostrich boot or the new bench mark series!
Nice work on the cleanup. Great way to do something positive, get video content and test the boots. I wish people would start using their own cups for Starbucks at a minimum…
Awesome Video Man! Huge Fan! Can you please do a video of the Ariat Benchmade Collection?
Great boots, love the heels. Can't believe you picked up trash in them, but that was a "real" test.
Nice the combo of toe shape and underslung heel
It’s good to see another boot that’s made in my hometown of El Paso. But yea for 2k it’s not a good comparison to Tecovas. Still nice boot, not sure if it’s worth 2K
Way Out of my price range. Good looking boot, but it's easy to nit pick a boot of that price. Congrats on getting into a pair.
Love the boots! And the jeans! What kind of jeans are those?

Damn man. Gorgeous boots. Love the leather and I need a pair with that heel man!
William puts out a great pair of boots.
Fantastic pair of Boots, but can you comparaise with another Boots maker ? Maybe Lucchese

More videos like this one... Quality boots 🥲 soon you'll have more boots than me ... ( 68 now )
Holy shiattt.... those are some gorgeous looking boots.

Great review, beautiful boot, wish I had $2k. :)
Can you do a update video on the Craig custom boots in the baby Buffalo? Those look awesome in the background.
Here's the update I did about a year ago! - ruclips.net/video/xhJMZSdd0RY/видео.html

please review Thursday boots new western line! especially the desperado!
2K for a boot is unreasonable. Materials and quality of construction top out around 800 - 1K. But hey, if you don't care about money, go for it.
Nice boots. Looks like a pair of T.O. Stanley boots of the past.
That's the most beautiful shape i've seen so far box toe
Is it in person or can we order online?
Beautiful boot.

Nice looking boot. Not a fan of the cutter toe , a U toe would be nice . Oh ... I kinda cringed seeing you out picking up garbage in them . Lol
Those are really nice, but I’d put my Lucchese elephant boots up against them anytime.
It says they are permanently closed :/
You can always see the quality when it’s made in El Paso
Nice
Very nice, you’re keeping those boots now, eh 😝🇨🇦♥️🌏🎄 relocate those elephants 😢 will not buy any exotic hide boots
500$ is where I draw the line
I’d hope they’re better than tecovas
Not a real comparison. I have 5 pairs of tecovas. High end 400.. ill take them anytime over a 2000 pair.
A $2K paid boots with rubber on the soles? Makes them look cheap in my opinion.
*wears brand new $2k boots to pick up trash on the side of the road. Legend. Too bad the bootmaker went out of business.
Is rotary club another word for prisoners or inmates? 😆 those look like some sweet boots.
even if this boot is better than a tecovas in every way theres no way its better then 6 tecovas......
It is a bullshit comparison 300$ boots vs 2000$ boots of course the 2 grand ones will come out, fucking bullshit.
Thank you Sir. I appreciate the kind words. We make authentic custom handmade to measure boots. Wayoutwestboots
