The post office doesn’t upgrade they use the same old machines, same old vehicles, same old buildings, etc… the point they’re trying to make is post office money is being stolen are used elsewhere.

Managment tells the carriers they have to leave mail so they dont go into ot to meet their numbers. They only care about numbers that are manufactured and manipulated every day

As a mail carrier, there was a time that all flats, letters, catalogs for that day out the door, no mail was left back, everthing delivered, just be back at required time. We want to deliver your mail, but management wont let us

Ask the postal workers how much they get paid.... it's less than chick fil a starting out. It's ridiculous. One of the worst run government services and the workers are over worked for no pay.

The "mail that was left behind" @ 4 mins or so is a joke. See what mail a carrier deals with on a normal day. Palatine IL....a "normal" day. Not at Christmas time....
alb post office........has their own car wash......trucks go to hoffmans car wash 2 times a day to get a wash.......their car wash is a packed storage room..And its packed.....They have their own tow truck.......but they have their trucks towed by a company.......They had a sorting facility build for this new special machine.....It didnt work,,,,so they paid rent for like 20 yrs on a bldg they never used......................wild how they spend away
It baffles me that everyone talks about the PO losing money and mail not being delivered on time, but none of these videos I've seen ask about the biggest loss of money which is turnover people come in and quit within 2 months because of the mandatory overtime and the fact that our hourly rate is almost the same as target and McDonald's in some cities. If we can't make a living wage without 20 hours of ot people won't stay here.

I’ve had four things stolen from postal workers and there’s absolutely no repercussion. There’s no way that they will reprimand anybody in fact they go out of their way to not investigate. I’ve lost a total of almost $5000 in a four year span and on top of it, you can’t call a post office and talk to somebody in that post office, you have to go through the postmaster general now and they won’t help you at all!
The service will continue to struggle while we are under paid and they can only attract shitty employees. Managers to very little on a day to day basis, yet they keep upping their pay and carriers are sick and tired of this cycle. Most people just want fair pay in today’s society which we used to have and still have a payment table, along with a good working environment. The usps fails to provide both at this time. As an employee you’re constantly over burdedened for sub par pay and forced to work extreme hours you often don’t have a social life. I don’t see how someone with a young kid could manage this job. You certainly are missing your child’s life.
