My 1070 TI is reasonably quiet yet a beast. I even set a custom fan curve that is more aggressive. I have to say that though I was upset to learn that I missed out on the custom coolers (due to my ignorance), this card is a BEAST and is quite quiet. You really DO need to set a custom fan curve, not for the noise but for the overheating, especially if you play very intense graphics games (e.g. BDO) without V-Sync. My 1070 TI was reaching 95C, which was ridiculous, but after the custom fan curve (look some up online), it maxes at 85C which is healthy. Easiest way to prevent overheating is to enable V-Sync (which caps your frame rate at 60 FPS or whatever is set). That way your GPU doesn't overwork unnecessarily.
I got instantly triggered when i saw dust on it and it was outside....
I still use this card today lol hasn't slowed down

When I bought my strix 1070 the strix 1060 was NZ$650 and I got my strix 1070 for NZ$850 which I think is well worth the relatively small price gap increase
yeah, the 1070 is much better than 1060, i think that you will notice the difference

Chaosy that's a PSU issue actually. if you use asus GPU tweak and lower the target power (or something like that) you could probably get it to go away, while it would decrease performance.

I have a Lenovo Ideacentre GTX 970 PC and I was wondering if I should either get the turbo or the dual ac. The dual ac is about $10 more but gives out a bit more performance. My computer is pre-built, has a fan on the back, side for the motherboard and one at the front. Also has holes on the sides. What would you recommended me do?
at malaysia the Turbo are more expensive than founders, and some dual cooler fan 1070. lol. asus is good at overprice
Why is this graphics card so underrated
I would like to know what is the best between founders edition and the asus turbo because here in Italy the founders goes for €499 and the asus turbo for about €540 so...if you do a video about it I will be grateful.

Harvz B The Founders Edition is the Nvidia reference design, and doesn't really offer any big improvements over non- Founders cards.
Could you perhaps measure the distance between the GPU bracket and the edge of the fan for me? I've got a mini-ITX case with a PSU shroud right below it, I wanted to know if the fan is able to go over the PSU shroud so it can breathe

hi mate, I am currently tossing up between this and the gigabyte g1 gtx 1070. is there much of a difference in performance? apart of a different cooler and backplate will I get better performance from the g1?
Karam Wadi if you have a prebuilt pc like acer predator, the turbo is the best choice. but i dont know that much, search for "7 gtx 1070" and a video explaining it should be there

does anyone know how well the cooling is from actually using it? I just ordered this card for my new pc build, I plan on having good airflow in the case but i'm a little worried about it getting too hot when gaming
I got max 68 degrees Celsius on it, while paying the Witcher 3
AleVids when I play ARK survival evolved (which is by far one of the most graphically intensive games available) I get about 77c max when the fan is running at it stock settings, however tweaking it up just a little bit to like 60-65% fan speed, while it does increase noise, it gets to like 61c. however in AAA games, while they do have probably better graphics, the optimisation is insanely better than ARK since it's early access, so really I don't think you should expect 77c from normal games. Cooling is definitely not a concern really.

Pascal is I believe, the architecture used in the new nvidia gpus, this would not change with aftermarket gpus either, so the Asus Turbo is pascal.
I think "founder's edition" is supposed to be the best blower style card. The 3rd party ones tend to be their most affordable. At least from a 'build quality' stand point.
Everything I read indicates the founders editions aren't usually ever the best blower style cards, but I could be wrong about that.
Founders edition is just the stock version. It just means that it's the one built and designed completely by Nvidia.

gtx 950 is actually pretty decent I can play most popular games on high-ultra and games like doom 4 on medium-high
