I'm really happy this is on RUclips now I didn't mind going to the site but it's easier to reference this for inspiration for my own edit I'm making. This is probably my third or fourth watch and it's just as incredible as the first.
It's crazy how people get in their opinions, but they don't understand how much quality art is. There's going to be love, there's going to be hate, but in this is just nothing but beautiful authentic cinema and creative rollerblading... Don't get it twisted...
Art? This is all just fish eye lense filming, post-production slo-mo, ambient music, and over-saturated colors with the contrast turned up. Nothing special going on here, especially with the skating… As another comment said, it’s just people jumping forward over things and soul grinds.
just not true. irrespective of content the filming, editing, and general aesthetic vision are novel in both technique and form. its so rare that something is so definitive, opening new conceptual space. this is something NEW and different in a cultural landscape and media ecosystem defined by interioirty and sameness. its so far out of bounds you dont know what to do with it. i pity anyone who cant see this@@dOuPdMe

Really torn on this one. On the one hand, there’s a lot of amazing and creative work here on the filmmaking side, but on the other, about half of it feels like really fancy editing and color balancing over not so great skating. Like overall, I dig it, but I keep thinking of someone like Dom West, where there’s both beautiful filmmaking AND fantastic skating.
Man this has to be the sickest filming, editing, effects, choice of music I’ve ever come across on a vid of any urban sport… I just wish the skating was more gnarly! I know it’s a different style of skating and I guess people just aren’t willing to put their bodies on the line anymore like in the 00’s Which is weird as other sports still do? Anyway still artistically best thing I’ve seen! Bless up from Germany!
This was actually bad not many good tricks done , genuinely disappointed 😔. I don't know why blading is getting so boring . Other than Stuart Danny and Alex, and thin le, no point in watching . Nothing against the skaters but nothing really interesting to see .
By far my favourite skate video, unreal skating! Filming and editing is incredible, lots of work has gone into this for sure.
