Yea i'm p sure she's filtering a ton of comments. I mean look at all the comments w/ thousands of upvotes: not a single reply. wtf.
One of the these comments that I saw literally told people who had trauma to " grow the h e l l up", saying the kids should've not been crazy fans. and saying it was not Colleen/Miranda's fault.
I wish I could remove that memory from my mind cause that comment was horrendous.
Anyone supporting her is either a young child, was groomed by her, or a groomer themselves. There's no other option!
I'm willing to bet that the majority of her supporters are naive kids. Which just makes this so much worse
We have to remember that she set her camera, wrote lyrics, recorded this edited it, then posted it, and at no time during that process did she think that this is a bad idea. That is actually insane to me
Part of me is jealous because I would love to live without even the slightest sense of self awareness or shame, it would be like being a jellyfish. Like what is it like to just not only do what she did but have zero expectations that her uke video would not be met with warmth
She has experience in acting, you can see it in the video. She’s an excellent actor and performer.. specifically in this video… cuz she’s acting as some quirky loser underdog or smth and like twists facts and manipulates the truth thru the deliberate and calculated lyrics… she’s like trying to set a new narrative and ppl that don’t rlly know bout what’s going on could believe some of what she is saying or most even 😅… example being “that’s why it’s not on RUclips kids, it’s pg 13” untrue cuz she brings kids around 7 yrs old give or take on that stage to do the weird skits, has done and said sexually suggestive things to kids, and her videos DO show up on RUclips kids sometimes. Lil things like that

From what I've heard, the issue with the "fart joke" incident wasn't the fart joke part, it was because the underage audience member had agreed ahead of time to come on stage for a different part of the show, but got pulled up for the yoga bit instead. Since she hadn't been prepared for that, she was wearing a short skirt, so when she was forced into the spread-eagle pose with her back to the audience, it made it look like she was fully exposing her panties to Miranda. (She was wearing bike shorts under so it wasn't an ACTUAL crime, but still emotionally scarring for a young girl.)
Colleen is just trying to diminish the incident by claiming it was just a stupid fart joke.
so it was under false pretenses… i figured that was the case. nobody would willing volunteer to be humiliated like that unless they were prepared for it ahead of time and consented to it. poor becky.

@@WURLDSTAR the commenter got it wrong. It wasn't that it looked like she was flashing Colleen. It's that Colleen manipulated her body so the audience could see up her skirt _as well_ as herself.
i know it has been approximately ten million years but this is just a bit wrong and it bothers me. There was no prior agreement, but Becky dressed as she did trying to be selected for the "porn bit", which is where Colleen-as-Miranda calls audience members up on stage to slut shame them by calling their outfits porn. So there was, in that way, incentive for her young audience to dress provocatively to get called up on stage. She was called up for the yoga challenge instead, which involved Miranda manipulating her body into various poses. And then, while standing over her, she spread Becky's legs open in front of everyone as a fart sound played. That shit would have been humiliating on its own, but Becky was in a short romper, terrified about her body being exposed to the whole audience.

If her intention with this... thing was to have the allegations swept under the rug, it backfired on her tenfold. Now, literally, everyone knows about the allegations against her, and she is being seen in a worse light for it. Her PR team should have specified that no, you can't "quirky ukulele white girl" your way out of child grooming allegations.

I think the weirdest part about all of this is that she should’ve apologized for this like, YEARS ago. I remember seeing her videos as a kid and it traumatized me on what I saw. And the worst part about all of it is that there are STILL people defending her.
She only apologized cause she got caught and that what makes me so mad about this whole situation. The fact that all these years she didn't realize or care that her actions are affecting literal CHILDREN is so infuriating to me.

The "fart joke" was much worse. She had set up an enviornment where it was "If you wear revealing clothing you could be called up for the 'corn' section" so Becky wore a miniskirt and was almost entirely exposed, and grown men were following her on the way out; making her feel UNSAFE

I never watched her but I saw some of the collabs she did when I was a little kid and even then I felt like the Miranda Sings character was making fun of my siblings (my siblings and I are autistic) in a caricature-like way, and it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I decided I would avoid her channel at all costs, and I'm so glad I did because I definitely dodged a bullet there.
