Shows the utter ignorance of claiming the bible says people will suffer eternal torment. The bible says no such thing. Some will face eternal destruction.

Hades (Jesus parable about Lazarus and the rich man) , Sheol ( see Jonah and refers to place where souls go in death) and the lake of fire (revelation). Hades and the lake of fire are considered to be unpleasant. There’s also the theory that those not in heaven are simply no more after the final judgment. Hopefully that’s correct. The implication of a hell place when you die isn’t a salvation issue nor does it detract from the astronomical and physical proofs he presented for the existence of a God
