That video just sums up everything about James and his bloggs open and honest and no bull shit . Nice to hear a wealthy person talk openly about cost on the gum ball . And the cost to him personally. One of the genuine guys on utube 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Fair play to his old man who established the family business and is a self made millionaire. James is clearly reaping the rewards of his dads endeavours. You have to feel sorry for the factory workers though who are probably paid minimum wage and possibly watching this guy spend £60k plus like it’s pocket change,
£60,000 to drive your supercar across the world, party, hot girls, networking with other business people and potentially negotiate a business deal, make millions? Sounds like a bargain to me.
Not to sound like an ass.... Hahahahahahahahaha lol talk is cheap actually doing it and showing for it is the fucking deal. Are you the 1%?i know for a fact I'm not, but that's OK. 2022 today. Hope this year Gumball 3000 is as awesome as all the other years! Stay safe and have fun!
This video exudes class and character. No unnecessary shots or overreactions or poor acting, just an honest guy in front of supercars outside a nice hotel answering questions with sincere thoughtfulness and insight.
Thank you so much for the open and honest content. Some people don't like to talk money, which I understand, be you sir are a Gent and amazing creator on RUclips. Just wanted to show my appreciation.
Honest, real, down to earth and really interesting.... this is why we watch you James. As you say “you want to bring us along for the journey” and being the real you means people like us who could never afford these cars or rallies can relate to you and what you are experiencing. And yes for the sunglasses but maybe make them in a few sizes for different size heads haha... cheers again James. Safe flight home kind regards Duncan.
Honestly, your channel blows all the others off the road. Thank you for getting into the honest-to-God detail with this one. Of course it's obvious that a trip like this is beyond the reach of most of us, but you have managed to make it relatable and make us feel a part of it - for FREE! Your all-hours commitment to that task is much appreciated, and I for one am really looking forward to hearing your 'big' news. Given everything you've done with this channel so far it must be massive! Your success is well deserved, James. I hope you are able to enjoy it (and share it with us!) for many years to come.
Yeah I second a lot of the below comments; thanks for being honest in answering many of those questions where other RUclipsrs may shy away. Always extremely interesting, fantastic work :)
Loved every video you have done on this trip. You're an amazing RUclipsr and so informative (and truthful). Can't wait to see the "first drive" video now of your gorgeous F12 TDF 😊
From a new subscriber. Got to say, never heard of his channel but will be tuning in from now on. Seemed such a genuine good guy. Look forward to seeing more uploads.
I can't begin to say how thankful I am that you give us such an exclusive look into something that 99.9999999% of us will never get to experience. Being able to share in the excitement and experience of Gumball 3000 just as a viewer feels like a privilege. It's due to all your effort and hard work that we get this free yet valuable insight into a world so different from our own. I know I'll likely never be behind the wheel of a car even close to some of those in my life, but getting to watch it and feel it through a screen is the second best thing. So thank you for all your work and willingness to bring that experience to us viewers, it really is something special.
Really enjoyed following the Gumball content. Up to the usual high standards. Liked the honesty around cost as well I’m sure many would shy away but in my view looks worthy every penny. You are truly blessed. Love the channel and can’t wait for the “News”
For someone really rich this rally is cheap, just pocket money. The main thing here, as James told us, it that like everything in life the key is networking. When you´re accepted in a restrict circle the chances of being in the next rally are increased. Also you can add more contacts and business opportunities. Beside that you have a really life experience, being in amazing locations, lots of attention, disconnecting from a stressful life... and having really fun.
Thanks for the recap of the rally. I was always was wondering about how you get into Gumball 3000, and how much it costs? I also always enjoy your candid summary of what you've just been through. Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to what's next.
Great insight James, thanks. Looks like a shit ton of fun being on the Gumball, gutted I missed coming through Manchester 2016. Thanks for answering the questions we all have, keep up the good content mate
Great video, really informative. Thank you for the insight cost wise, finally someone who is open about it. I'd love to see some sunglasses by the JWW brand as long they don't cost as much as the entrance fee😜
The problem isn’t the entry fee, it’s the fact that it’s probably worth spending that kind of money! Phenomenal content as always James! Cannot wait for the TDF video to drop...
Highly insightful video James - you have addressed a lot of questions about Gumball that some of us are considering on "applying" for in the future. Many thanks - keep up the fantastic, candid content.
Respect James. I’m sure others have said but I’m impressed with your honesty, especially as you know you might take flak for it. It gives your channel integrity and i, for one, greatly appreciate it👍
A really nice way to wrap up the trip, was an epic Rally this year. Kudos to all that took part and the Gumball crew for organising such a mammoth event! Also glad you took one of your cars this year and do not need a drip! (Sorry mate, all the thoughtful and tactful comments are taken when you are this late so... :D )
To be fair 60k for a planned trip , several no hassle car loaded aero plane trips , hotels pre booked events and tracks rented out, fleet management it's not all that awful . I was thinking round the area of 120k or something ridiculous like that
I agree. £60k is actually pretty good value. To put into context, I paid £850 for a night in a relatively standard hotel last week. Amazing room, but not a particularly special hotel. These guys are chartering massive jets and there must be so much ‘fixing’ work goes on.
Great chat! Casual with ease and answering questions while taking this time from your very busy and super fun trip, much appreciation. Oh, and you hyperball 300...Get on that! Very baller!
The tell it like it is policy is one of your best qualities, so much click bait and vague answers on you tube, none from Mr JWW it’s just straight up top notch content.
Great video. Answered alot of questions I thought about as well. While outside of my bank accounts realm, it seems like a good time. Esp considering the amount of networking involved. Associating with movers and shakers is well worth the money as it leads to more money. With people you would have never met otherwise. Dream Gumball 3000 type rally... to be honest, as a retired truck driver, that would be an utter nightmare driving that much every day again. Regardless of the company or car. I would want the Lazymans Rally, drive a few hours a day, visit a track or nearby attractions. Take a little longer to get there but would enjoy it alot more. That being said, I do enjoy your (and others) videos about the trips and lifestyles I am not a part of. Keep them coming.
Thank you James for being so HONEST and SINCERE about the costs of this whole experience. It is a lot of money, but if participants can afford it, GREAT !!!! It also unable you to give us some really cool content. Cheers from Tahiti.
adding to the rest of the comments... loved this video. Really a dream of mine to be on a gumball rally soon and looking forward to making that happen.
Good work as usual James. I loved Japan. Was there in 1985. Only place you can feel safe to be outside at any time of day. Loved the Mercedes A class review. Watched the video today.
Mmmm I quite curious if the little lad will still have the same mentality when growing up. And next to that. You got a cool car and 80.000$ (if it’s a border long trip) laying around. Not to mention the process to apply for the rally. It’s not so easy as it may seem.
@@damianklaassen8760 It’s all about mind set. You’re maybe correct, but let’s wait and see what’s the future holds. Cars and money all checked, We will see what’s going to happen. He did ook picture with him, will be very cool to take another one with him in 8 years. That’s what the dreams made for. Enjoy great days ahead 🙏🏻
They are all multi millionaires, so money shouldn't be an issue. Moreover, from intangible aspect, you get what your money's worth through the whole experience (should you embrace them of course). From financial point of view, you can get even more than that through networking.
Why would you doubt that? James stated as much in the first video, and it would make no sense that he would pay the entire fee and just allow Parker to tag along for free.
Brilliant to watch yet again ...... not being creepy ! , but you seem a real genuine sound guy .... always look forward to seeing your vids ..... better than anything on T.V ..... hopefully you will be changing that ! ! 👍🏼
World class content, you can’t get this kind of genuine insight anywhere and really helps us understand the grandeur of the event that we would otherwise never know. You do this RUclips car game better than anyone, awesome.
Honest, real, down to earth person thats why i love you sir and this gumball ralie is so interesting....one day i ll be ther and this is why we watch you James u are uniaue in your own way enjoye ur trip
I really enjoy your insightful journal experiences about Gumball the logistics in what it evolves to participate in this rally! Thank you for sharing, James. BTW a pair of Mr. JWW sunglasses would be a cool idea and I really like the silver ones you wear very iconic on you! What's the brand you wear plz?
Gumball is fun, I’ve done it twice. Not the whole thing but a leg in America in a Lambo in 04 or 03 and in Europe in 16 in a Bentley. It’s a good time, but doing the whole thing is a bit much for me. "The World's most Stereotypical Lamborghini Owner" spotted. (@teamsalamone), lol. I ran into Mr. Salamone and Concubine at an event in PA some years ago. Contrary to his Jalopnik tagline, he was super nice in person. Very informative video, cameos aside! Thanks for answering us peasants' questions!
3000 miles in 7 days is incredible! The most I’ve ever done is 1200 in just over three days which is still a lower daily mileage. Sounds like a truly special journey and thank you for bringing us along!

9:40 for the cost of gumball.
You're the real MVP
Thanks
Oh God thank u

Kyle LaCroix The opposite of Parker.
YESS PLEASE MAKE SUNGLASSES FOR US!
Lord Brathwaite price will be a factor of buying for me though
Jesper Fortuin that’s true! Hopefully they’re decently priced, I really dig his style and would enjoy some bespoke looking specs like his own.
English class and modern design. That's the way to do it.
Oh... I just described James
i found out what happened to parker.mobile.twitter.com/hooviesgarage?lang=en
What kind of sunglasses are those that he wears

Sixty THOUSAND pounds!!! Jesus Christ James.
Ryan Link and the 4k he spend in tolls and fuel and other stuff.... but it's all worth it. The 65k is relative...
Would james pay for the cargo plane even if his car isn't going?

It’s a good time, but doing the whole thing is a bit much for me.
The format this year with Europe & Japan I didn’t think was a good idea. The best Gumball’s are in Eastern Europe.
The cars are amazing!!
