- There is no other trail system in Cape Town that has put as many people in the hospital as this one.
I guess it's because of the amount of amateur riders who expect to go for zero to hero in flash or maybe it's riders who are not prepared for what this trail system has to offer riders.
Let's try and solve a problem by showing you all what you can expect from the Hoogekraal trails in Cape Town

who maintains the trails for you guys out there. Are there any trails near Kirstenbosch
That trail is maintained by a club. You pay an annual membership and get access to ride the trails. They maintain with funds collected from the memberships. Yeah, there is the greenbelt in kirstenbosch. There's a video dropping later with some more trails in the area. Keep an eye out for it.

Thank you, Danger Wayne, for putting life and limb on the line, to bring us to these most dangerous black trails.... ;-) Seriously, IMO the most dangerous thing is the gravel road pedal monster who doesn't need to check anything before riding it and runs out of skills when there's a turn, or worse, a rock or something... and then proceeds to blame the trail builders. And the courts even entertain this shit. As a result, I've seen thing gettings dumbed down on this side, enduro/DH scene is struggling and the few of us who WILL take individual responsibility for ourselves, have our right to fun taken away. Hence I usually act far less diplomatically than you did towards idiots who stop in the middle of the trail. Well ridden mate! This vid has made up my mind wrt going to give Hoogies a shot! Thanks!
Yeah we ride at out own risk. Don't buy a bike if you can't handle crashing.

Wtf a dangerous trail. Never heard so much kak in my life. Did someone pay you to talk so much shit about this trail.
I think they were still hungover from the previous night's partying & needed to take a quick break. Snakes are alright, just be faster than them and you'll be good
So basically, the speed is not your friend in this trail. :D
