I love it!!!! I'm a nurse and I have waist length locs that I have to wear up every day. This is now my favorite way to put my locs in a bun. It's easy and compacts my hair. The best part is that this is the only bun that I'm able to wear low that does not give me a headache. Thank you so much!!! Your locs are beautiful.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! Such a perfect bun. Your locs are beautiful. I have Sisterlocs and I have been trying to do a bun for years and still haven't figured it out. This was very helpful. I'm definitely going to try it this way. Thank you.
Thank you Ma'am!!! Doing the bun was so tedious, I usually save it for my dress uniform, and wear a ponytail(which i hate) in NWUs. I will be using this method for now on!
This looks lovely. I'm an early childhood teacher and the babies grab my long locs all day. I'll be trying this, because the other styles have been putting a lot of stress on my edges and they're breaking off😢
I have passion twists in now and was about to fuss because I couldnt get them in a bun. I just used ur way and got them in a bun good in like 7 mins....in regs lol thank you
Thank youu! I leave for BMT in 2 weeks and doing my hair is my biggest concern. My dreads are about that same length and super thick. I even considered trimming them a bit but maybe I won't need to.
My locs are at an awkward length and I want to go to basic training next year. My hair would be considered short but the locs in the back might be longer than the collar. Is it better to leave it or get extensions so that I can put it in a bun? I don’t want to cut my hair.
I think if you could use pics or a net, that’s would be helpful. I’m not a fan of extensions, but if you think they’re right for you, then it’s should be a good solution.
Rebekah Elaine thank you for your reply. I’ll check with my recruiter as well. I believe I could do two braids going back but I’d have to learn how. I don’t want to get to basic and have to worry about hair.
did your locs hold out throughout your training? I plan on joining the navy but im really struggling with hairstyles for my dreads since my hair's really thick and the last thing i want to do is worry about my hair as well
Hi there. I joined years before I had locs. But I believe that overall locs can be maintained in training. You may have to Retwist once or twice when you have time off

What size are your locs?
They’re small. But they’re not considered micro. I have 137 locs ruclips.net/video/pZhV-_CuoBY/видео.html
I did this once correctly and can't get it every since
It’s hit or miss for me. Lately mine have been a bit lopsided lol. I’m not sure why.
I wish they would let men have locs.
Lots of men wear locs?
Oh do u mean in the military
