Scott was my favorite from the FLW and still one of my favorites on the Elites. He has been due for a 1st on the “Big O” I’m super happy to watch it go down in 24!! I believe he will have some really good tournaments this year with the Classic locked in…looking at Lake Murray to be one👌🏼

Scott, I caught my PB, here in Massachusetts, yes Massachusetts on a Bandito Bug 11.2lbs..
They do exist here in Massachusetts, but very rare.
The people I was with called me an absolute idiot for letting him go, but I have the pictures to prove it, that's all I need.
Man belongs on land, and fish, in the water, I have no regrets what so ever.
I had a beautiful 24×48 picture hanging on my wall of her, I didn't need the fish on the wall.
Hopefully some other angler can land here again someday!

You can always tell a Florida fisherman, by the finesse. Saltwater fishing teaches you not to “horse” the fish.
Love Scott. But man we got to get to a catch, weigh the fish and then release it. You can't then put that thing in a well for the rest of the day. Gotta get better with fish management!

Question: Not a big fan of taking a Large Female away from Nesting area? I like the weigh & release for extra large fish, 7 plus. Special DNA fish in my opinion.
In Florida, at Okeechobee, bass spawn from November to May. Those females have plenty of opportunities to spawn not only once but multiple times

@@stevecorey5035 plenty of fish studies have determined many fish will swim back to where they deem “home” in short order. Often times within a week. Valuable fish dna is still in the lake.
@BassmasterOfficial Thanks again. Still believe there's Unnecessary Stress on these Fish. Measure, Photo, Weigh, Swab & Release. Bring the rest to weigh in. I'm a Catch & Release Bass guy. Love those Bluegills, Crappie & Channels for dinner, still have limits.
These fish should be weighted and released. Especially if spawning 😔
