I love Disco so much! It’s the wig I have on in my profile pic here!😀 I have 4 of them & your correct the lace is useless & even with “it stays” it crinkles I manage to hide it. It’s airy light & gives me instant attitude 😀 I’m 55 & this is totally my era! Thank you for all your great reviews!💖

Adorable! Yes the Disco does remind of that era. I loved that time in my life and loved the renaissance curly hair look, except I had poker straight. So I would wrap my hair in perm rods for that look. I love curly hair ( the grass is greener on the other side sometimes)! Great you had so much fun in this demo!!!!!!!!

There was a band on TV a few days ago and the girl had a shorter version of this hair and she was rocking it! A new band called “WE”…I think this style is coming back bc it’s so easy to care for.
You'll have to split your time with Andy with my older sister😊 He was her all time favorite!!! I'll let her know she has some competition(even though he's no longer with us😞)

Hi Sandra!! First, make sure the wig isn't too tight.. sometimes tightening a wig to help it stay in place is counterintuitive. Some people have a flattened occipital bone in the back that usually helps a wig stay in place in back.. if that is the case, you might want to try a wig grip. Hope you can figure this out! XOXO

my real hair is exatly like that. I love it but find it hard to keep from getting frizzy. I enjoy your vids on the slightly shorter curly styles as inspiration on haircuts in the future.

He is facing imminent discharge from the Airforce, but they have to fix him up first, so it could be awhile. He is working the desk until then. Blessings and prayers XOXO
Actually, that kind of hair is more 80's. Lots of BIG hair back then. I sure had it! In the 70's, hair was long, straight, and parted down the middle, or it was like Farrah Fawcett's side layered cut. I sported both of those hairstyles too. :)

ME TOO!!! I graduated high school in 1980. My husband (then boyfriend) played in a band all through college. It was great times. I loved my permed hair. Now, I'm thinking Storyville or Disco might be in my future.

I can see that wig in an end of year party dance of the old classic ‘Every day I’m Shufflin ’. Everyone’s done it, there’s even the Rosh Hashanah Rock Anthem using ‘Shuckling’. If you have to do a variety/comedy night team performance, just don the flouro leggins and the Ellen Wille Disco wig, learn the choreography and you’re set. I really like it, so much funky personality, you could get away with a lot in that.

Perms were all the rage...the bigger the better. My boyfriend even had one. Yeah I want to cringe when I see Saturday Night Fever today. But back then people payed attention to detail; fashion and hair. My WIKI always brings me back! Still listen to the Bee Gees and Donna Summer.

Yes! My hair was curly like this, but very fine and frizzy.. a mess.. this wig helps me live it again in a better way.. and humidity is not going to affect it.. yay! I don't see a good red option.. there's Aubergine, but its a deep purple red, hoping thats your thing! XOXO
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET thanks! I really wish they'd come out with a light red color. The aubergine/plum colors don't work for me - way too dark for my skin tone. My go-to red is Estetica's R30/28/26 - a true strawberry, and I also like Estetica's 133H24, a fiery copper red color. I was disappointed that Storyville had no good options for red lovers, and now this wig (which has a similar vibe) doesn't either. :-(

That micro lace would be ok if it stayed put, but with crinkling? Storyville (which I LOVE) seems like a better option. Is Storyville a tad smaller than Disco? I never need to cinch my Storyvilles in. They fit perfectly. Another reason to pass on Disco, perhaps...

I love this wig so much! What would you say is the difference between the champagne rooted and the pearl blonde rooted? I look better in warmer shades, so would that be the pearl? Thanks so much.
Pearl is grayish white.. .very ashy:-) Champagne Rooted is warmer than PBR. Hope this helps! OXXO

I just received Disco in pearl blonde rooted. I love it! I think I look like bozo the clown lol but I don’t care, I just love it. Even though I’m 70, I was trying to get a more white color but the one I got isn’t white at all even though it looked like it would

I have this hair naturally & have always straightened it. As a teen in the ‘70’s, EVERYONE wanted Marcia Brady or Farrah hair! It’s cool that curls are so accepted now. While this is not my style at all, it looks good on you. Are these super curly ones harder to maintain & have shorter wig lives?

You must be younger than me, because no self-respecting teen in the 70s would have been caught dead watching The Brady Bunch . 😊 Not everyone wanted straight hair. I had flat Native American hair, and would killed for long locks like Carole King. The 80s were better for big hair, and then along comes flat drippy Jenifer Aniston. Even Nicole Kidman traded in her beautiful red hair for flat blonde, and so did Julia Roberts. Everybody went vapid clone. I'm glad to see some texture and individuality again.

I bought a Ellen Wille wig which I loved the style but..... It was extremely shiny which I fixed after washing about 3 times in baking soda and then using dry shampoo. What I didn't like is how thin it was around the crown. It actually shows the inside of the cap certain ways I parted it. Maybe I just got a bad one. I Also have been trying to find the link to get into Taz open box wigs. It continues to take me to reviews and other items she sells. Can anyone help me?
