YOU CAN DO BETTER | A Harley-Davidson X 350 Review

- It's easy to pick on Harley-Davidson, for many want the crown of the most famous name in the game. But sometimes even the greats drop a dud and that is sadly the conclusion I came to on the X 350 which entered the most cutthroat segment in motorcycling in Australasia.
Sadly for Harley, the X 350 falls short in the class due to poor quality compared to its peers, a lack of tech and a price point that is simply too high.

Subbed in 2 seconds. Love the honesty.
Nice one bro. Glad you were just straight up with this one as I think for the people who might be potentially looking at these new Harleys, this particular segment nowadays is so incredibly competitive. Especially on the used market. Much respect!
Thanks. Yeah you can’t half arse a LAMS bike anymore. You especially can’t over charge and underdeliver like H-d is currently doing. Honestly I had to be convinced to release this one. I don’t like going negative
I'm not a guy that normally watches reviews.
But that was 1 of the best videos I've ever seen. 🤣
I was thinking for getting a 500x. I'll definitely be watching a review on that, hopefully it's a better bike.
Thank You
@motonz has a review in the 500X coming. I’m choosing to not ride it after this disappointment
@OnThrottle you were like a old school father, and the bike, a terrible son 😅😅🤣😅😅😅😅
Appreciate the calm tone in the video, i really cant stand people yelling in their review videos. I have a few questions and an opinion. 1. You are a tall person to be riding a bike with a seat height of around 777mm, I believe this HD will work well for shorter riders. 2. Sensor issues. This can be sorted, I guess? 3. Arent you supposed not to rev the bike above 5K RPM until a new bike/engine has run for at least 1000 to 2000 km? Cheers.
Thanks, I wouldn’t call myself tall (I’m about 176cm on a good day) but yeah, it’s definitely designed as a bike for smaller riders being designed primarily with the Asian market in mind.
2, still disappointing. The dealership tried getting them recalibrated with no luck but that’s not saying it can’t be done. The 500 X my friend @motonz tested was the same.
3, ideally to keep warranty you want to follow the easy break in but as other have shown (Ari Henning of Revzilla for example) there is little to no difference in how you break in a bike these days. They noticeably do loosen up but even the claimed peak power is down on similar sized engines from Japanese manufacturers like Yamaha and Kawasaki.
News is there this x350 will be launched in India soon.. I was thinking of buying x440 which is already there here..
So this video of yours will have a lot of Indians watching soon.. 😂
I am 165 cm hope height will be ok.. I suppose for me.. Seat 817 mm in this x440 it's 805 mm 🤔.. Built quality will be less cause x440 is made in collaboration with Hero in India.. And so x350 also will be average....
It's made in vachina. What did you expect?
@@1minuteofgaming596 there are some great products coming out of China. This isn’t one of them. I expected better as Harley are charging a premium over the rest of the bikes in the class.
@@OnThrottle Yeah CFmoto is doing a decent job. They are still far behind but 10 years ago it was unthinkable that China is able to make a decent product. But this Harley is a total scam.
@1minuteofgaming596 it’s a poor effort for sure.
