So this is the girl whom some people are offended over! I'm sure the Indonesians themselves aren't offended. Over here in Asia, we love it when other people embrace our culture. We are always ready to share it.
yes, it is. A Swedish Indonesian girl who lives in Bali and speaks the language. She was being taught a Balinese dance by a Bali teacher. Then she was getting ragged upon for being white and learning that dance as cultural theft by others before they knew what it was about. They ASSumed wrong because of skin colour, when all the girl was doing was honouring the Balinese culture. They are the only ones who are being offensive and rude!! Beautiful dancing Daisy!!
What gets me is the fact those who say she to white umm she has a Indonesian biological parent and speaks language. Need to research get your facts before you assume. It's great she is embracing both her cultures. 🎉
This is stunningly beautiful. Until all the controversy surrounding this sweet child, I had never heard of this style of dance or seen video or pictures. Now I am obsessed with finding out more about it.
This is amazing! I love the facial expressions! This dance style is so unique that it makes me wonder about the origins behind all the movements! It almost looks like a 2 dimensional story performed in 3 dimensional space. I can’t help but feel bad for the dancer’s joints! There must be a lot of warmup involved and BioFreeze. All of that hard work pays off though! The movement, music and aesthetic are absolutely mesmerizing and uniquely beautiful! Well done! Her parents and teachers must be so proud!
Well done young lady. We in Ireland 🇮🇪 have deep love and respect for people learning our language (Gaèlic) and dance (Cèili) so beautiful is Indonesia dance that I would love to see it live one day. Keep doing what you love Daisy ❤️

@@catherineeASMRThat is nice to know. I think it is important to embrace the culture of the country you are living in. If your family relocated there, it is important to know and take part in as much as you can.

I’ve been watching Balinese dance for the past month or so and find it very interesting. I always wonder, how long does it take to learn just one of these dances?
Hi, Daisy is here. Focus, consistent and attitude doing it all😊difficult to say, different for one and another. Balinese kids learning dances from born and often see other dance on regular ceremonies, they have such natural imprinting in those things.
