Hey guys, let me know down in the comments just how strong you think Mihawk is, what would his hit rate be against Shanks ? Do you like his relationship with Zoro ? Did he have the best entrance in all of One Piece ?
Mihawk's into is gas. I also like the idea of him having a Vampire Devil Fruit. It's never been implied he does have a DF, but it's also never shown he doesn't.
@@baloonfart8082 I mean to be fair Krieg did hypothesise that he did have a devil fruit 🤷♂️😂 I reckon he’ll have an insane backstory, how does he rank with your favourite Warlords ?
@@baloonfart8082 Nice picks, Mihawk and Doflamingo are definitely some of just my favourite characters in general, my favourite Warlords would be Crocodile and Jimbei. All OG 7 though are seriously some of the best characters in anime !

@@PoH27 Na I can definitely agree with that, at the end of the day it’s the characters them selves that make the One Piece world work and not their individual power. Oda has done such a great job building his world and character’s relationships with each other, probably my favourite fictional world ever ! Do you have any other anime you love ?
i think mihawk’s swagger & the way he acts/dresses/speaks is intentional in that he’s written to be from nobility without expressly stating so, and the fact that he & shanks fought enough for that to be a friendly rivalry growing them close enough for mihawk to go into a bit of a depression afterwards shows that shanks must have grown up around him for shanks to be that with mihawk. all of this is to say that i believe mihawk is written the way he is to hint that shanks is of celestial dragon (read: noble) lineage, or at the very least celestial dragon-adjacent. in my headcanon, at least. note this is coming from somebody who binged all of One Piece over the span of a few months & have watched a good chunk of clips afterwards that i don’t remember seeing, despite definitely watching the scene referenced. so i could be very misinformed

After what happened on Elbaf, I think we have a little more info on Shank's true strength, than Mihawk's. So then my question would be, has shanks gotten stronger since he lost his arm, weaker, or remained the same. If Shanks is stronger now (I think so), then there's just not enough info to try and power scale Mihawk. The fact that he hasn't received a single scratch in the series means it's all speculation. If Shanks is weaker or the same strength as the stories beginning, then I bet you're right, Mihawk is more than likely yonko tier. Yo, if it turns out he really is the black blade incarnate tho, you owe me a dollar =P

I agree with you I don’t think it makes logical or narrative sense for shanks to have gotten weaker, considering he became a Yonko after losing his arm. And I agree with your second point as well that no one can truly scale Mihawk until we know more. Like I said I think he’s slightly weaker then Shanks but due to narrative I definitely reckon he would be in that tier somewhere. Given his rivalry with shanks, his bounty and his title. Here’s a good question for you do you think Mihawk would beat current day luffy ? Obviously there’s no right or wrong answer but what does your gut say ?
@@jackcypher7474 I’d want luffy to win but cutting is his weakness. On the other hand can anyone keep up with the madness that is fighting luffy now, lol. Luffy would probably win but I think he’d be missing a limb.
@@Drucifer-1988 That’s definitely fair I struggle to see Luffy coming out of that fight In One Piece 😂 Mihawk would be one of the worst people Luffy could go up against. Do you think Zoro will beat Mihawk at the end of the series or do you think someone will beat mihawk before that and Zoro will then have to beat them.
