We have one of those grapples on an old 365 cat, but we had to attach hard points to prevent rock slippage. We used the teeth on an old asphalt ripper, once we got them in place we never had any more problems with slippage even with rocks covered in ice. Which is extremely important when loading a contractors float or rock placement like a breakwater.

As long as it does the job effectively hydraulic size don’t matter
