I cant remember what book or article it was from but it was supposed eye witness accounts from folk who lost female family members they went to be chisen for the promise of a better life, the women had to be a certain height and look, the only reason I still remember is how absurd it was at the time.

There was an acorn shaped craft that landed in Kecksburg, PA in the 1960s. It lit up the sky from Michigan through Ohio to it's final resting or crash site in Kecksburg.
