Nuvole Bianche is the song that made me learn piano at 23 years old, and opened up a new world. Not a day passes without me playing at least an hour, and everyday I play and discover new emotions behind Nuvole Bianche. Thank you Ludovico for bringing me into the music world.
“Life is like a piano; the white keys represent happiness and the black show sadness. But as you go through life's journey, remember that the black keys also create music.”
For anyone saying the sound is wrong/off. Einaudi recorded this at home during the COVID-19 lockdown in Italy. He performed some live concerts from home on his iPhone and decided to record 12 tracks from across his catalogue on the Iphone. The piano hadn't been tuned in a year and one key doesn't work according to his comments about the recordings. Floorboard/seat squeaks are all part of the performance. Just enjoy someone who loves playing the piano, and plays it beautifully. 🙂
As a little sixteen years old girl but only ten years old flutist, I find in his music a lot of peace and calm. I can't even say how many times, when I was just under the wave, I click on one of his pieces. It brings me chills and tears every single time. And I love those music which can make you crie when you're sad, hopeful when you're happy, or feel powerful when you walk into the unknown... Well, this is the longest comment I ever posted, but maybe someone will think like a little Frenchie flutist.. Take care.
pauline colas I can understand how his music moves you. When ever I play his music I lose myself in time, and every time I play I hear that I play it slightly different depending on my mood.
I have played this song almost daily for 2 years, following a major life loss. Every time I come to it, I discover some new feeling, or remember something once known. Now I have started playing this variation, and as I progress through the changes, I am delighted by what I am hearing. Thank you for this, Mr Einaudi. There are no words.

In love with your music Mr. Ludovico. Following you since last 5 years when I first heard you in "Intouchable". Your music has so much pain in it which makes feel emotional (feels same when heart breaks). Can't stop listening continuously for hours everyday and the magic is I'll never ever feel tired of it. Lots of love sir, wishing for healthy life, god bless you.
Undiluted beauty. Watching the fingers (of one of the most underrated of composers) dance over those ivory keys with Einaudi captivating expression and touch. His music is so inspirational
I just played this earlier today; I had my windows open while the whisper of the slight afternoon breeze accompanying the distant bird melodies surrounded me. Such a simple act is truly a transcendental experience. I loved the slight modification in the style of how the original one is played; this one seems to bring out a sense of seriousness but with great peace. Thank you for this beautiful work of art, Mr. Einaudi.

This music always makes me remember I seating in a dark room, blue lights lit, a good essence in the air. The mind preparing to fly, to set apart from here. Thinking about life, feeling the life!! Thank you Ludovico.
This piece inspired me to learn the piano. When I spotted this I thought watching his hands could teach me some of the technique as I am only 8 months into learning from scratch. His fingers are so relaxed and graceful, I could barely tell he was playing. Playing this song gives me muscle cramps! I guess I have much smaller hands than Ludovico, because I have to do so much crossing over. Beautiful piece, by the master himself! Thank you for sharing. :)
I started learning learning piano recently, and this is a peace that I play religiously. Not too difficult but extremely soulful and great for practicing on your tempo and rythm. I left my digital piano at my hostel before lockdown but even after 2-3 months of zero practice, I will still be able to play this song. That is just how much it is ingrained into my hands.
Happy Ludovico Einaudi shared this. It's wonderful when even established artists like him can share music on any scale...and the music is still affective...it (the music) does what it's supposed to do.
I attended his concert once, it was surreal. He played the seven days walking album but they were improvising along the way, which was way better than the original recordings to me, then he returned alone to play all of the very famous solos, of course this one is one of them but he also improvised along the way, his segues between the pieces were phenomenal to say the least. He took me on an emotional journey his music was therapeutic. It was as if had different interpretation of his music that time and he gave it different emotion whilst conveying those emotions to us. At the end of what was like 50 solid minutes of a complete segue of solos the violinist and the cellist came back and they all together played Experience, which was the best of the best, he ended our experience with Experience, I could swear it was on purpose, it was emotional and full of charge, it's kind of he took us along his maze of emotions interpreted by his music and then brought us back to life while reminding us of the experience we experienced within his journey.
