None of the side mount videos seem to show the finished product. How about showing how the thing works and how to test it....

Not enough info for beginning. Didn’t mention how much slack in chain.Or which side of screw device fits on which side of handle.

After many adjustments on the chain. I can't get it from hitting the lid. After two handles from the plumbing supply made for American Standard for that toilet it still hit the lid when you flush it. Any suggestions. But the toilet is working. fine.

What about replacing just the copper rod so you don't swap custom bronze handle with cheap chrome one? Seems like it could come out. Mine broke off at the chain end where the holes are.

If it's a nice one like mine that costs $80 ( brizo) you would probably have to repair it it have it repaired. I don't think the rods are replaceable.

you tighten it the wrong way, counterclockwise not clockwise!

Hi mgunde. There are different ones. Some clockwise, others counter clockwise. Make sure to be sure before you go cranking down with force. Good luck!

Obviously this one tightens clockwise, but all my Kohler levers and the delta ones I'm replacing them with tighten counter clockwise.
