- Tom Cruise has a habit of being a total lunatic when it comes to doing his own stunts and breaking his ankle and nearly dying. Here's some but certainly not all. Stop doing it Tom Cruise you'll die.

He also trained how to hold his breath for 6 minutes for they underwater sequence in Rogue Nation. The scene only called for 3 minutes, but he decided to go for 6 for they could do two takes in one go. Tom Cruise. HAHAHAHA.
P sure he trained for six in case something went wrong and he got stuck, but otherwise ye
It would have been a much better sequence if it was 1 continuous shot instead of jump cut every 15 seconds to show that Tom was actually holding his breath
That holding breathe shit was impressive as fuck I remember some video showing the woman who taught him how to get better. Was incredible breathe control
My favourite Tom Cruise stunt is that time he and Universal tried to make the Dark Universe a thing.
Career suicide attempt
Screaming on a plane, that was the best stunt.
Crash and burn
so basically a *Mission Impossible ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)*
Haha! Gottem
I just broke my foot, HAHAHA!!!
So long.
MY BODY! HAHAHAHAHAHA!
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Hey scientologists, how can an OT8 break their ankle? Shouldn't he have been able to heal himself on the spot?
Terrific
Best part of this video is the constant mocking of his laugh
HA HA HA HA
@@jesse1086 they really need to bring that back...
Fucking amazing
I like the one in mission impossible 27 where Tom Cruise falls to his death and to make it more realistic he actually falls to his death
Jeff Dunham JJ Abrams' final victory
HAHAHHAHA
Hahahahaha
I lost it at "don't catch me if I fall HAHAHA!!!"
Thanks for putting the red circle around Tom Cruise's foot in the thumbnail, very informative and helpful
BattleUp Saber my god how are you in like all the videos I watch
lol
darthawesome 24 BattleUp Saber looked at your liked videos and subscriptions, figured out your pattern, and regularly visits the videos you will likely enjoy.
top ten tom times to cruise himself
This made me giggly way more than i should have
Had a stroke trying to read that
incruiseable!
Congratulations for actually reaching 10 things guys. Proud of you.
I just realized one of the reasons I love these guys is they have kind of a Rick and Morty inter-dimensional cable vibe
Top 10 toms Time Cruise tries to kill himself
Mr. Pool.
Crom Tuise is having a stromk, call a Cruisulance
@@unhelpfulrevelations7989 I don't care this is a year - that's damn genius hahahaha
Oh no my ribs are braking from laughing HAHAHAHA
You missed all the times he acted with raised heels to seem less short
RDJ did it better
Marvel. Thalia maybe, but this is a video about Tom ""definitely not suicidal" Cruise
Or when he stands on a box but the audience can’t see it.
Verrry dangerous. I noticed in Fallout they didn’t even bother trying to make him look less short next to Henry Cavill.
schmoab lol
The Tom Cruise laughing bits are killing me haha
HAHAHAHAAA*
You guys doing the Tom Cruise laugh is the best thing ever.
That laughing joke almost killed me, HAHAHAHA
Never gets old. I can rewatch this video endlessly
That damn couch gave him the biggest injury
Can't forget the underwater scene in Mission Impossible 5: The Fifth Most Impossible Mission. Not sure how it was filmed but Ethan, sorry Tom spends six minutes underwater holding his breath with no oxygen tank!
This to me is maybe my fav stunt of his. Easily one of the more impressive. Some people here don't believe he actually did that.
I can easily believe he did it! Being someone who as a deep water phobia it had me drowning in my seat... drowning... get it... cause its underwater...
The tom cruise laughing parts had me dying 😂

I feel so educated now.
This is making me like bell curves even more.
Do you even thesis bro?
James and Maso should start and edutainment series where they explain concepts like this with pop culture references.
Jj Abrams actually fired that missile at tom cruise---- I'm d y I N G LMAO
Cavill’s interview he says that the halo jump was all tom but he; himself wasn’t familiar with sequence and wasn’t trained but was really eager to do it due to being from a military background
If he has a military background then yeah he is actually trained... I'm trained to skydive since I was 15 and was part of the local cadets.
r/that happened
Tom Cruise was cursed to never die because neither Satan nor Good wants to put up with his obnoxious laughter for eternity
HAHAHAHA!!
Is that what your parents said about you?
I was never into Mission: Impossible cause I just assumed it was like a American version of 007. After seeing this video, I saw that M:I 5 was available on Netflix and I wanted to see the plane sequence.
I ended up watching the whole thing and now I'm going to see all of them. I had the N64 game for the original movie and I loved it, but I never got the urge to watch the film.
Congrats, guys, you just made me a fan of Tom Cruise inadvertently.
The best Tom Cruise movie is Tropic Thunder btw
personally i think every movie is better than the last one, it really is a great series
Tom Cruise is absolutely my favorite action movie star. Like Jackie Chan, he knows how to appear vulnerable when he's in these dangerous stunt scenes, which really helps sell the scenes.
jackie chan rules
@@Derek_Keenan fuck yea he does
He did a lot of the helicopter flying stuff in the new Mission Impossible too. He's a crazy person. It's rad.
I feel like Tom Cruise is under-appreciated. Yes, he's a weird creepy scientology-man, but he always puts 100% into his roles, is likable onscreen and this doing the stunts himself really adds something to the scenes
GET COSMIC, MASON!
That added sound of tom cruise's foot breaking cracks me up every time
Tom Cruise is the kind of guy that could tell us he really travelled through time in Edge of Tomorrow and we all would believe him.
I love that "hahaha" joke throughout the video. It's hilarious
The great thing about Tom Cruise action scenes is not just Cruise and his physical feats, but also the fact that he does stunts at beautiful locales and they are caught gorgeously on camera...like The Burj Khalifa sequence, The Halo Jump and The Paris chase scene and the insane helicopter chase in MI:6, the war scenes in Edge of Tomorrow...no shaky cam..wide shots and they look incredible!
I love the title of this video.
Tom Cruise risking his life is impressive but Jackie Chan really is the Daredevil that has risked his life even in more dangerous situations.
Ok, raghu
I love Jackie Chan but Tom Cruise did strap himself on to a plane and hang/drop from helicopter
But Jackie Chan is a trained stuntman, that’s what he started off as
Even Jackie Chan would say no to being strapped to the side of a aircraft.
Shutup Ragu. You have the name of a pasta sauce
Those Tom Cruise laughs kills me everytime. 😂
The laughs
Kill me 😂😂😂😂
Lived in Dubai for 18 years - back when they were filming MI:4 there were constant helicopters flying around the Burj for at least a few weeks
The one wear he almost dies is my favorite
James Nodding yes
James Nodding r/whoooosh
@@mrrevenue592 whooosh doesn't apply here, mate. I see this comment all the time and and more often than not it's used incorrectly.
Doc r/doublewoooosh
@@mrrevenue592 bahahahahahahaha for real dude?!?!?! Welp, think I've had my limit of cluelessnes for today. Guess I'll see ya tomorrow RUclips.
James and Mason talking

James and Mason: HAHAHAHAHA

I can't believe you didn't mention that in Cocktail, he learned to do the flippy bottle spin tricks as if his non-dominant hand was his dominant hand. Instead of, you know, changing the dominant hand of the character because it doesn't affect the plot whatsoever.
MI:2 always holds a special place in my heart. That metallica song too “I Disappear” from that movie- the guy with the face mask
I've read that Henry Cavill wasn't allowed to do the HALO jump and was disappointed about it.
thetramp123 Yeah because of the bell curve. He's too famous to do it but also not famous enough.
So they did comprise. They make him keep his stach and he won't jump out a plane. ( That was so evil to make them cgi it off)
Keep in mind, the HALO jump is one of most dangerous parachute jumps, even seasoned skydivers think twice of performing it.One famous actor doing it,was risky enough, but 2? The insurance and the studio would go berserk,if something happened, also Tom Cruise injuring himself,on a relatively ''harmless'' stunt, put the production on hold for several months. He's only allowed to do these crazy stunts, because he's also one of the producers and paid out of his pocket for all the medical expenses.
People always talk about Jackie Chan doing his stunts, but ignore that he and his team, were blacklisted from all the big insurance companies, back in the 80's.
Never thought about it before, but that stopping right before hitting the floor bit is insane. How hard must it be to not reflexively put your hands down.

*23!!!!!!!!*
lose all your money gambling, though the fortress is a must.
I spent it all on gambling
After listening to this show for what feel like 15 years, I think this ones finally kicked my mind directly into the abyss
I like the part in Mission Impossible 6 where Tom Cruise climbes into a helicopter like the mad man that he is.
0:10 you adding a potato chip bag crinkling over that moment is the sickest thing you've ever done 😂
0:50 is the second sickest thing you've ever done, you bastards 😂 thumbs up!
2:27 this is one of my favorite sequences you guys have ever done
The fake Tom cruise laugh, and the “don’t catch me if I fall” by James is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life lol. Idk why they chose a suicidal Tom cruise as a running gag for this video but it’s just fucking funny lol.
Top Gun = The Airplane one
You gotta give him credit, not even Day-Lewis goes as far as to break every bone in his body for realism.
The way you and Mason talk to each other reminds me of Rick and Morty for some reason, personality wise.
I bet when he's dying it's just "hahhahhah, this is the greatest stunt"
All praise to the Cameramen! The camera rigs and car mounts are amazing engineering, but notice that whenever Tom Cruise is "doing his own stunts." The Cameraman is doing the same stunt, but backwards and wearing a camera rig; like Ginger Rogers doing all Fred Astaire's dancing, but backwards and wearing high-heels.
8:55 had me dying.
Just watched this after the mission impossible one. Good stuff!
I wonder now if Tom Cruise actually got himself lit on fire for Interview with a Vampire now ?
Part of their content being so good is thanks to the editor, neat style
Great video! I too love the building sequence in Ghost Protocol. Iconic!
I guess you can say he's into some............. risky business
"It's a bell curve and on both sides is death" :)
"The aeroplane one that everyone loves" might be my favourite ever description of Top Gun
the editing in this video is top notch and i keep coming back to it
2:59 Game grumps!!!!
That stunt Tom Cruise did in Legend, when he smote Beelzebub, or Tim Curry, or whatever his name is. That’s when both Ridley Scott and I knew he was going to be a big, big star.
That missile scene has always bothered me. The thing blows up behind him and he gets blown sideways? What physics explains that? Also, those missiles are for destroying armoured equipment. At that distance, he should be half Cruisey mist and half Cruisey paste. His toupee would probably be blown to safety, but the rest of him? Not bloody likely.
yeah I always had an issue with the physics of that too. Does not compute.
It's like when that woman gets shot at the end of Django Unchained and goes flying off to the side, except it's not supposed to be funny.
You're questioning physics in a MI movie?
bobcharlotte When it takes me out of the movie, yeah. I'm willing to let the guy run away from a missile explosion unscathed. I mean who can't do that, right? But do we have to give up on Newton's second law too?
Felipe Rey's video of 'Tom Cruise laughing but it's Mr. Sunday Movies' (hilarious!) is what brought me here.
Great vid - you guys _are_ hilarious.
Subbed.
I can't stop laughing at this!!🤣🤣🤣 They had me cracking up the entire time
My favourite stunt is when he runs full speed for like 3 minutes straight, 'cause I love his weird muppet run
I love 3/4 length pants. I’m waiting for them to come back around.
You guys commentary is golden!!! I swear you guys are hilarious!!!
Tom and Jackie Chan should make a movie
A sequel to Rain Man?
2:57 - Nice classic Game Grumps clip. Made an already great video even better.
Tom Cruise is the man. Climbing up and down that payload line in Fallout was awesome too.
The silliness of that knife scene 3:19 is that if you let it go the gravitation would do its job.
I couldn't stop laughing at Darth Cruise dark side force shocking Oprah hilarious 😆
Guy I can’t turn my eyes, HAHAHAHAHA
That's INCRUISEIBLE!!! I didn't know youse guys even made this list, kudos for this dusty gem 👍
The problem with the Halo jump in Fallout, as highlighted by the corridor crew lads, is that even tho it’s a real jump, they fill in the sky with heaps of CGI clouds and lighting so it takes away from the reality of the stunt. Still bloody awesome tho!
How came back after finding out Tom Cruise is INCRUISABLE?!?!
Feb 2022 and I literally just spit coffee onto my computer when you re-enacted Tom Cruise informing the crew of his broken leg.
Thing about the missle scene from M:I:III is that its ruined by the horrid CG plane that zooms by immediately afterwards
That ankle bend in the beginning.😖😖😖
That ankle went FLOOP!
This is one if the funniest videos you guys have made, the banter between you guys is awesome 😂
I think that the titles for this video that you guys came up with in the actual video are way better than the one you went with. "Top Ten or However Many We Get To Tom Cruise Stunts We Already Said The One Where He Broke His Foot, That's Number One" just rolls off the tongue better and is way more honest.
This video really made me think over how absurd the Mish stunts are and made me realize just how much work goes into them.
Is there a reason why Tom Cruise hasn't work with Keanu?
Ratiwat Watthanaphuti heard K hates Scientology.
EuromanMovieReport lol Keanu’s awesome
The insurance fees.
It's like matter and antimatter. If they came together, it would destroy all movies in all dimensions of time and space.
True. It’s probably because they would make a movie where they are TOO efficient at killing people really quickly.
Why is there just a random clip from Game Grumps here?
Haha so glad I wasn't the only one that noticed!
Bc he was talking about how much money he needed to stab Tom cruse
Joseph Ed Reed Mr Sunday and Mason bought Game Grumps and are now the Richest RUclipsrs on Planet Earth
Just a reminder to bet it all on 23
23!!!
Sweet Game Grumps clip there.
I think Milla Jovovitch did a similar "running down the side of a building" stunt herself (or at least most of it) for Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
this has to be the best top 10 i have ever seen in life
All of the foot/ankle crunch sounds made me laugh the most, oh poor crazy Tom Cruise XD
6:40. No, the first time was in Spider-Man 2. They used it multiple times when Doctor Octopus hurls Peter around in the movie.
I didn't see any cable attached to the knife in either of those behind the scenes shots, making it even more insanely dangerous *HAHAHAHA*
Hands down one of the funniest videos yet on this channel
I love the subtle Game Grumps nod! Like Danny’s grump Head in one video!
The motorcycle chase around the Arc de Triumph is pretty good.
Like Nicholas Cage ( Johnny Blaze) in Ghost Rider, you can always cheat death after you've sold your soul to the devil
I would not be surprised if I was the only one who got that reference.
CJ Meiko that movie was trash (honestly no idea how it got a sequel)... go watch Agents of Shield Season 4 Ghost Rider... much better.
IridiumFTW I know that, I was referring to how he could do anything because of sellng his soul
The Tom Cruise laugh is the best impression I've ever heard of someone that doesn't actually sound like that person
Up there with Dana Carvey's George Bush impression
My favorite Tom Cruise stunt was when he tried to convince us to join scientology
This is the quality content I subscribed for
Oh god, that crunch sound.
