I am so happy to relearn and use this feature, whenever I restore peoples computers from being locked out, forgot passwords ... , I might just create a Power On Password and show them how much can be done to there computer from the inside (Har-Drive) and outside (Soft-Drive)!! It worked for a Window 11 HP Lap-Top.
So I recently tried to turn in my old school laptop in and it wouldn’t turn on for some reason the Jr tech guy said it didn’t work and to keep it I said if he was sure and he said yes go on. Now I’m wondering how to Bypass the BIOs key I assume it doesn’t start With an A and it’s custom set is there a way to by pass this ? I’d appreciate the help, also if it’s in ethical I tried to turn it in atleast give me pointers on what I should learn to figure this out: since I got the laptop to turn on

Just tried the acer bios password andbit worked!!!! Thank you very much! Edit: I went to the website first via google. I checked on here just to see where to insert the generated password

How do I know if my pass starts with A? That's why I wanna reset it

There has to be a way to brute force it or a program I can put on a flash drive and have it boot from right..?!? Please someone help
@@bankcity9246probably not since there is already a lock on the bios meaning it most likely won't be able to boot from a USB flash drive.

Same. There is no disabled code, it just says system disabled
Edit - the code in this is case is actually the serial number of the laptop

Hi, there is no software solution for your issue. You need to swap bios chip.
